Would you quit your job after winning a few million dollars?

Unless someone loves the work they do I think working when you have so much money is a waste of a lifetime..I think people could just as easily spend their time in a good hobby or at least get involved in something that interests you rather than sticking to a job when you don't really need the money...life is to be enjoyed..

Heck yes! I would definitely continue to work. After the government took their share of the money and after you decide whether or not you want a lump sum or it in portions then you really don't have a lot. Personally I'd save most of the money, pay several things off that need payed off, and then invest the money into something that would build business in my surrounding area. I wouldn't mind opening a venue...

I would quit my job, but not stop working. I think I would change my line of work for sure, something more satisfying & fun. A job where I can give back a little more to our inner city youth. I would start my own business that's for sure, maybe an outreach program, yeah, that's it:-)

Hmmm I'm not really sure. I would definetly take some time off and travel. But I don't know if I would stop working completely. I like to get up in the morning and have something to do. So I may want to work part time or open a business of my own that I didn't have to be there full time.

Yup, I probaly would for awhoie and enjoy my kids at their young age....and then return to work.

Think I would proabably start my own business too, something i really want to do. And of course I would travel and take my daughter everywhere. It would be great, maybe some day when I win the millions..lol

Actually, it would depend on the situation. If it was quite a bit to where if I worked it out right, I would Never have to worry about $$ again, and could afford getting Medical from somewhere, then I would leave my Job, etc. and look for my Own storefront, etc., as that has always been my Dream. But if it was going to be Short lived or Rocky I would have to think twice, or learn how to make it stay there in case of Failure, etc. In today's Economy, I think you can never be too careful.

nope i wont , i like to travel to and enjoy and at the same time share it with the needy..we work coz we want to earn some money, so if ive got billions or whatever amount that will sustained me , i will not work anymore.

Hmmm... if i win a million dollars, i would first of all buy a nice big house for me and my family, a new car and with whats left of the million dollars i would prefer starting a business of my own! Oh yes i would definitely quit my job!

I would probably do the same as you would, since we are working so we have money to support our financial needs, there will be a lesser need for that if I win a few million dollars. Of course I wouldn't want to just go around doing nothing, so I would probably invest that money in a business that I would love doing. I would want to have something to do even if I have millions, but of course I would want to be my own boss, no more employer bossing me around.

It depends...If we win few million dollars But then we have to pay millions credit cards debts , house & car loan , & more .. it will make you still need your current job to continue living.... : ) Have you win a prize , how many million dollars ? : ) I wish if I could win a big prize one day... :D

that's a big amount of money. i will definitely quit my job if i won few million dollars. i would set up my own company or business which i am the boss and hire an economic adviser to oversee the flow of my business. perhaps i would travel around the world and enjoy for a while.

Of course! It is obvious I already had money so I don't have to work for others anymore. What I would do is find a business that I could well manage my money.

I would keep my job. I would also keep the same house and just add on to it. Instead of just going out and buying some huge expensive house with roosm I will never use.

i'll definitely quit my job immediately, lol! why do i need to work if i already have millions? i will just start my own business and enjoy my money with my loved ones. i will start my own business based on my interest and hobbies so that i will not be bored, and at the same time i will enjoy managing it. i wish i become millionaire!

If I won a few million dollar I would not work at all. i would definately put in most of my time with my kids. I dont love any job or thing more than my children. I would explore the world with my kids, buy a nicer house, and save money for my kids.

i will quit my job.. eventhough a few millions dollar can't support me for live.. but i think with that large sum.. i can make good use of it.. first.. i can diversity it into good investment programs.. and then i can use some to do charity.. and the balance.. i can use it for my own enjoyment.... i believe the interest i get from my investment is enough for me to spend my days happily because i don't have to work.. and i get to lead a normal living.. don't you think so? .. and if i wish to round the world.. i can accumulate the interest .. and go for a trip overseas... haha.. thinking of it is enough to make me happy =)

A FEW MILLION DOLLARS!! Why on earth should i work under a boss, when i can be my own boos with that kinda money. I could even start my very own business and become the boss of my old boss even. And you said a few million dollars, when i am here dreaming about what i will do when i get even 1 million dollars.
