Do you meet your Chat friends?

Most of my friends are those who were with me at school or College or those whom i have met at work or those who are my collegues. I have been chatting for over six years now.I find it very difficult to trust people whom i meet online. I have only met one person so far and he too is my collegue at work now. What about you?

So far, I never met my chat friends. Well, actually I don't have a real chat friend before. However, i've known somebody last year on my space, he is an American, we keep emailing each other everyday,sometimes more than email, we share pictures, videoes for each other.That's amazing! He planned a trip to China next year to see me, because it's much easier for him to get Visa. so, I am going to see my chat friends soon.

No, I never met someone I chatted with in real life. I do have enough friends to meet and go out with and the people from chats live far away.
Internet is a hobby and these chatfriends are good for my soul, a friendly : Hi, how are you does wonders sometimes.

Same here. I like chatting at times but do not like to meet chat friends. I have enough real life friends and are unable to do justice by giving time to them so i am very choosy about whom i pick as friends. Thanks for responding to my discussion Inky261

I never met any of my chat friends in real life as they are from deferent countries but some of them i consider to be true and sincere friends and would like to meet one day if I ever get the chance.

I have a couple of chat friends who are close to my heart too. But i have not dared to meet anyone so far. Thanks for responding to my discussion.

itr really good not 2 meet online friends. most of times it ended in bankrupting my pocket for me.the i have decided here after not meeting online friends...its really difficult 2 trust they say they r beautiful but when v meet its really the opposite

I have a hard time in general, but I have met a few of my chat friends in real life. I have no regrets. They are wonderful.

I've been chatting for about 9 years now. I started chatting in a Firefighter chatroom when I went back to college to work on my degree in that field. And have chatted in yahoo also. I have met 6 of my online friends in person, most lived in the same state, and we were going to be in the same city for a conference or for social reasons and decided to meet in person, most I had been chatting with for several years. The last person I met in person that I chatted with, I now live with! We have been together 2 years. After chatting for years in the same type of chatrooms, ya learn to pick up on the wannabe's real quick and the fakes. I guess I'm lucky, I have remained friends with all those that I met, and they are great people. As for the one I'm with now, we met in chat, exchanged phone numbers, and met in person after a month, 2 months after we met online, I moved 1600 miles to be with him.

Wow, That's nice. I too have got real close with some of my chat frends and share almost everything with them. I have kept in touch with most of my chat friends through phone and mails. But have not gone ahead and met them because i want my chat friends to be just that....chat friends!! Nice to know that your current partner happens to be your chat friend and that you are going steady. Thanks for responding to my discussion.
