Thanks for your response,a movie and drink sounds like a good idea for the first date.

It is a long time since I had a 'first date'. My husband and I have been married for over 21 years. Hey, actually it is 22 in a couple of weeks. We tend to not celebrate much as money is tight and my birthday is shortly afterwards but I digress.
My children are teenagers but have not started 'dating' yet. They tend to go out in groups. They went to a mixed school so the groups have boys and girls in them and they all get on well together.
I expect these days they would still go out in the group but be closer together. I am glad I don't have to do that again.

Wow you're 22 years married, thats a long time.Yeh the teens seem to have a good sense to go out in groups, its safer and thats whats being young all about really-friends and having good, clean fun. Its a challenge to have to "date" again but thats the life, its full of challenges and seldom boring.Happy Anniversary magicamerlin.
