Hugs are often needed. A study found that women benefit more from a hug than men do. I don't know if this is true, but I love hugging. Who was the last person you hugged?

The last person I hugged was my 18 year old son. I'm so glad you asked this question, because I've been so excited to tell this to someone, but it seemed to sound so odd... This was the first unsolicited hug I've gotten from him in many months. I mean, the first time he actually held out his arms and took a step toward me for a hug... not the other way around. And it was a great hug, with a couple pats on the back! I'm still smiling... one of life's precious moments for me.

When they get to be teens they don't hug as often do they? My son is 13 and always hugging me. I'm happy that you had that bonding moment with your son.

In a few years if your teenager seems to be drawing away, I hope you remember this exchange and don't despair, lol. Take care.

My husband, I hugged him this morning before work. Hugs are great! As long as they come from people I know. I'm not too keen about hugging strangers. I don't know why, I guess it's weird to me.

When I started this discussion it was my daughter, but now my son just gave me a hug. Yes hugs are great. I have comforted a stranger before with a hug.

The last person that I hugged was my daughter this morning when I woke her up and I was leaving for work. I don't know if it is true that women benefit more from a hug or not, but I think women are more comfortable with a hug than men. The kids drive my husband crazy when they hug him and it doesn't bother me. I actually enjoy it!

I love hugs to. Last person I hugged was my daughter. My husband was right before her. I love to be held by my husband and it melts my heart when my little girl puts her tiny arms around me and says hug.

The last hug I got was from my 13-year-old son. I will be getting more hugs from my friends this evening at karaoke because we always share hugs when we meet up there.

The last person I hugged was my 20 month old daughter. She loves squeezing me tight and then she kisses me. I feel good after a hug. It lifts my spirits up and makes me happy.

It is true hugging keeps you close to people and emotionally balanced. The last person i hugged was someone very special to me. Kevin he was getting ready to go to his work training in a new community to drive truck and i hugged him before he hit the road for his three hour trip.
