Do you get along with your inlaws?

I love my mother in law - more than her son... she has become a good friend. I can call her anytime I need to talk to someone. She is a sweet lady.

My MIL is totally awesome. It might be because of her age, though. Sorry to read that you hate your in-laws. Hopefully they won't drive you too crazy:)

Not married yet. :) It just that i have a friend who constantly complaining about her mother-in-law and constantly put a fight with her. But at the same time, whenever her mother-in-law have problems there she ie... lend her hand to help. And later.. they fight again. Now that she moved out from her in-law house.. she seems happier....

I think my in laws are weird. I've come from a family that are very close and are always there for each other no matter what. Before i had my daughter we would have to chase her around on Christmas and other holidays now she claims she has been having Christmas at her house for years. We have other houses besides hers to go to that we have been going to forever. She gets pissed that we have to go to other family members houses for holidays. She complains if we go to her house first so we started going last and she complained about that also. Shes never happy. She never corrects my child when she calls her mommy and in fact she answers my child when she says mommy. My sister in law doesn't have a relationship with her father because of the crap my mother in law put in her head about her father. She acts like a child.

Well, first of all I am divorced now but when I was married, I loved my inlaws. They were always so nice to me. They would have done anything for me. Me ex made sure to ruin that by putting it in the divorce agreement that I could not have any contact with them after the divorce was final. I don't ever want to see him again but I would not mind being able to talk to his parents.

I am very lucky -- my in-laws are wonderful!!!!
