How many times have you been in love?

OK, you got me thinking about it. I'm not even sure if I was really in love because I'm starting to think back about my 2 exes and I can only think of being in love with the IDEA of being in love. I loved their company though. Especially my first ex, I can really say I've felt his love. It's good but now I'm not sure if it's love I felt back then.

Looking back I thought I was in love before but as it turns out i've only truly been in love once and that's with my sweet girl, best friend who is now my wife. I absolutely love that girl! It's great!

I think twice, including my husband.

Wow—great question. 5 times- My first love was for my MOM. She is always there for me. I learned very early on that my mom was a great person- I think even before I knew what love was I knew my mom was special. I still love her more and more every day! She is my best friend. Once to a man that I thought was the one- We were together for 4 years, towards the end I saw a different side in him that I wasn’t proud of and didn’t want to live with. I know I loved him dearly. My dad- When I told them I was pregnant- unmarried and not in love with the dad—just a silly, not thought out night. My dad took it hard at first- About 8 months into my pregnancy- he came to my house without my mom and told me how ashamed he was that he acted the way he did- Hugged me and told me how proud he was of me regardless and that he loved me- This was when I knew unconditional love for my dad! (Took longer than mom) My daughter- The day she was born- I was hooked. Completely in love! Who couldn’t or wouldn’t be! It was amazing. What a bond and it’s still growing daily. She is amazing! My significant other- He is my 1 true love- It took me a bit to find him but I’m glad that I did. There are days when I could kick his butt... But most days I admire and adore him more and more. He jumped right in and was not only there for me but my daughter too. He is a great man- I truly love him! It’s been 7 years! I have enjoyed every one of them! i will consider it as ONE and only. what i felt for my exs were just infatuation or simple admiration because i did survived without them. i never felt the emotions that i have with my husband.

for me it's my first time.. even though he is not my first boyfriend.. he was still the one who made me fall for him.. and as early as now, for the past 2 years he is thinking of an engagement and for our future.. and that I know it is great but I'm not still ready for it. I want still to have more in my life... I mean more experiences as a single.
