My favorite song is "I F***ing Hate You". Which brings me to an interesting question....well interesting to me LOL!!
I like the song because it reflects exactly how I feel towards my hubby.....so my question is.....are Hate songs the new love songs??? With so many hate songs out there...seems like most people are more into telling their "loved" one to kiss off then telling them how much they love them....my music library is full of these songs from Godsmack, Nickleback, Simple Plan, Linkin Park, Sevendust and many more. Is your music library similar to mine? Or are you in love not hate with your spouse or significate other?

I guess with so much stress on being honest in a relationship these days, it does seem logical that sometimes you would hate a person who you're around and well, you gotta express your feelings. But I don't think that applies all the time. I guess the classic love songs will always be classics too, and will sometimes go with our feelings too.
But then, rock has always been the expression of extreme feelings whether it's love, hate, entrapment or jealousy. It's the music of emotions and it's sung in exactly the way we feel like sometimes which is screaming it out loud.
I love the rock genre.
Some of my faves on my playlist, are also almost these love hate songs. Like you should give these songs a listen..
"car crash" by dirty americans and "everything I once had" by the honorary title.
But coming back to the topic, my favorite godsmack song, is "I stand alone", it just describes everyone at some point of their life, including me.

You just can't beat the classics. My music is always a reflection of my feelings. My hate songs seem to have surfaced more here in the last three years. But, my mariage has hit rock bottom and hate seemed to be the more dominate emotion.
