Is it true that a woman always have different pregnancy each time she gets pregnant?...like the 1st maybe easy but the 2nd is difficult or the other way around? How true is it that they say the 1st pregnancy is always the hard one and the next would come like its not that hard at all? My first pregnancy was not that hard and Iam planning to have another baby. Hope to know your views coz that really scares me.

yes i definately believe so!! my 2 pregnancies were very different i had 2 little girls and they were so different i thought my second was going to be a boy just because i felt so different! my first pregnancy i had morning sickness from about 5 weeks til i was 3 1/2 months and it was everyday. at 7 months i developed pre-eclampsia and gained 35 pounds so fast, i had contractions and my water broke 2 days before my due date, i had placenta previa and had an emergency c-section my second baby i felt great in the beginning barely had any nausea, had bad back pain unlike my first baby, this baby was a planned c-section everything was like night and day between these 2 pregnancies! from cravings to the way i felt everything was just so different the worst things about my 1st pregnancy was the morning sickness and pre-eclampsia. the second baby the worst parts were the back pain, feeling very tired but i have 2 beautiful babies so it was worth it!! dont have any expectations when you do become pregnant, i did things can turn out completely different. :)

Each is diffrent I think. Im pregnant at the moment with my second child. With my first baby I had no morning sickness this pregnancy I did. I had practically no bump at all with the first and at the moment Im huge. Im bigger now at 24 weeks along than I was when I was full term with my first. The cravings are diffrent but I know the birth will be the same as Im having a c-section. At least this time I'll know what to expect. hehehe :)

I have heard first pregnancy bellies take longer to show than those who've already had child/children. I've also heard that the labor and delivery gets shorter and easier with each child.

My first pregnancy was fine,I just had a lot of nausea and trowing up..but I was hungry all the time and I could eat a lot.I am pregnant right now, and may nausea is worse this time..Is completely different,I can't eat...I always hear that the labor is easier the second time,so, i am happy about that!My first labor was very hard.I think you will be fine, especially if your first pregnancy was good.

I do believe that they are all different, just like each baby is quite unique. WIth my first one, I was sick for the whole 9 months, throwing up about 5-6 times a day. As soon as I would throw up I'd feel great, like I'd never been sick, and then a couple hours later, it would just hit me again. The Second time, I was sick for about 6 -7 months, I threw up ALL DAY LONG, problably 8-10 times a day, and I felt nauseaus and sick to my stomach, all day, every day. The first one's labor took about 10 hours or so, the second time around, I walked around dialted to a four cm for 3 weeks, then when I went in, I dialated from a four to a ten in 20 minutes, and out he came! SO, yes, they are all different, and there really is no way to tell what symptoms you will have or if it will be easier or harder. Good luck!

I am 37 weeks pregnant. It is my second pregancy. I would say I liked my first pregancy more. Apart from a metalic sort of taste in my mouth I felt well most of the time. This pregancy was bad in the middle months with feelings of sickness and much back ache. I didn't know much about birth until my son was born. This time around I feel scared of the birth. It is true every pregnancy is different. My sister has had four and it has been interesting to see how different each on of them has been. Her third birth didn't sound awfully nice but she got a dear little baby girl.

I am a mom of 4 my oldest is 11 and my youngest is 3. Every single pregnancy was completely diffrent. My oldest is my only son and the other 3 are girls. you would think the pregnancys with the girls would be the same or at least similar? NO WAY think again. My cravings were diffrent every time and the way they moved when I was pregnant with them was diffrent. Even the foods I ate were diffrent and with every one the morning sicness was diffrent. with 1 pregnancy nothing made me nautious, but with another one the smell of soda made me want to puke. with another I couldent pass a Mcdonalds or Burgerking without feeling like throwing up. I loved being pregnant but I hated the cravings and being nautious.

thats something...well, you did great on your pregnancy. I just hate the craving part especially when you crave for something isn't there in the middle of the night, I hope I wont be able to experience that...thanks for sharing.

Sometimes they are different, but usually when they say that its about the pregnancy itself, not the labor part. my first two were about the same during pregnancy..and the labor of the second one was easier than the first one. my first 2 were girls. I'm in my 3rd pregnancy now, and it was different. I craved different stuff and i was sick to my stomach the first 3 months. this one is a boy :) I don't look for the labor to be any harder...after already pushing 2 through there, my second being a 9 pounder, this one ought to just slide right out lol. don't worry everything will turn out fine :)

Each pregnancy and labor is different. That doesn't mean thatif you have an easy one the next will be hard, just that it will be different. What you crave to eat may be differnet, what makes you feel sick may be differnet, how tired you are may be differnet. But that doesn't mean worse, just not the same.

It all depends. With my first pregnancy I think that I was so anxious to see everything that was going to happen with my body and I was more in tune with with it. I was very scared didn't know what to expect. I had a hard delivery with my daughter. My second pregnancy I knew what was going to be happening and I showed a lot sooner. There were times that I would forget that I was pregnant until the baby started moving around. I just wasn't as in tuned to my body with the second pregnancy and my labor was easier. But everyone is different and you shouldn't let the fear of having a hard pregnancy scare you away. The birth of your own child is amazing.
