Is love a choice? or a disteny?

I have raised many discussions on myLot and i have some responses that make me really ask the following question:
Is love really a choice that we take and decide to be in love??
when we fall in love, do we make it by our own choice, do you see someone and then decide "Yeah .. I wanna love this person " ...
in my opinion it just doesn't occur like that, it starts step by step in a way that we cant stop, it happens as if it is written and made very long time ago, maybe before we were born ..
it is not a choice that we decide to take, it's a disteny that we follow even if we tried not to ..

It's a question which difficult to say. I do believe disteny thing happened here and there in this world, but only a few lucky people get it. As we growing up, we are get preferred the "choice" love. When we met a guy, we value his apperance, his manner,his treasure....then decide, "Yeah...maybe we can have try....". I don't know whether it is good or not,but it's true happened in my world.

Love is basically a choice. You can choose to love someone that you really don't like. You can choose to love someone who you think you will marry.

In my opinion, love is a choice. They say you don't choose who you love, but if we don't choose who we love then how come we've got lists of what our ideal partners will be? How come we choose what aspects we want about that person so that we can fall in love with them? Some practical people often rely on what they can get out of the relationship before they get into one.

i do believe that love is a destiny..... that every one of us is destined to love someone... that it is already predicted by the supreme being even before we are born...

love is both a choice and a destiny... we fulfill our destiny by making our own choices... meaning,-- our choices lead us to our destiny... get it? we are destined to love someone because we choose to be in love or vice versa--- we choose to love someone because we are destined to love that someone... destiny and our own choices come hand-in-hand with one another.. it just happensa that way!hehe

It is a destiny that you have a choice about accepting. I think circumstances can bring people together but only real true , love can keep them together. Everything else will fade and move on because if it is not real, then it has no substance to last.

i think love is a choice..because it's your choice if whom you wanted to fall in love, it's your choice if you wanted to feel this or not..it's your choice to feel the happiness or the pain when your in love..it is your own decision, but sometimes we cannot teach our heart, it's just a magic that we can feel love..but on the other hand, it could be a destiny..

I dont think we have a choice when it comes to love,I think you fall in love without even knowing it it is the same with my husband and with my kids i fell in love with them the first time I layed eyes on them and there was no chice or changing that.
