If You Could Fly....

... where would you like to fly to, and why?
I think I would fly to all the places my Internet friends live, so that I could meet them for real. That done, I'd probably make a flight to Christmas Island because that is my dream island. I've always wanted to go there, but never been.
So use your imagination, and tell me where you would fly and why? Would you be a fairy, an angel or a bird, and what might you like to do when you reach your destination?

I'd fly straight to the moon aaanndd juMp over it.... just to see whats on the other side! Then i would take a couple of pictures to show my family the back of the moon is the same as the front. From there, on to the milky waaaayy! Once there i would drink from it because it has the best milk in the universe! I would then take a world tour, stopping now and then to smell the roses and admiring the beautiful landscape of the earth, the mountains, waters, sands the rain-forests, so new to my eyes! I would then fly happily to the biggest cloud and punch a whole right through it! Then i would write I Love You in the cloud just so the world knew i was there!
Take care Darkwing.

I guess you would travel the World then, Pye, with those countries listed leading the way. Lol @ your Numbus 2000 Broom. What are you trying to do? We already have such a great reputation for flying the night skies in the moonlight! Ha ha ha ha ha.
Brightest Blessings my friend. When are you coming? :)

that's something i've never really thought of to tell you the truth, and i think up a lot of odd things haha...
Hmm, well... If i could fly, i would go to the ocean, that's somewhere i've never in my life been...
And when i was done there i would go back up to the mountains.
I would also go visit relatives i've never met in person, which is everyone besides my parents and brothers and sisters. I have actually never met any of my family other than one uncle of mine, who's not worth ever meeting again...
I'd also probably go to Italy, just cause... Ireland - I wanna see where my grandmother grew up. Egypt - something about that place has always drawn me in, and i just don't know why, but it kinda feels like home.
I guess last would be to all of my friends, like you, internet friends, and also those i haven't come into contact with in years, i would totally do that..
But your discussion has now made me decide to contact them more often. So thanks for that.

I'm glad my discussion has helped you decide to keep in more constant contact with your friends you haven't seen for some time.
Egypt... maybe you were there in some previous life. I feel a draw to various places and when I go there, I've felt as though I'm in a different era. For instance, at one place in particular, I got caught in a time warp and it felt like Medieval times. I really wasn't in touch with my present life at all. I heard singing and various other sounds... it was weird. So if you ever manage to get to Egypt, there may be something there which will tell you the reason why you are so drawn.
Thank you for your response Spitfire, my friend. I found it very interesting and am giving you a + rating. Brightest Blessings.

thanks hun, yeah that's probably what it is, i've dreamed of some odd things that i can only consider previous lives as well, and that's more than likely what it is, same goes with the ocean, and the mountains, when my hubby and i went up to the mountains, it was so odd, felt like i belonged there forever.
I've never had a place bring me back like that, but everywhere i go, i hear, see and feel everything that's happened in the past.
There's this mall here in the city, it was so horrible when i was in there, i darn near collapsed, so i looked into it, and exactly what i felt happening, happened, i'll never go back there, never.
I'm way too in touch with the spirit world, seems like they come to me, i have to be careful where i go.

Hi Darkwing hope all is well.
Once I read more about Christmas Island " It's not uninhabited but it's certainly warm and the beaches are white sand. There's palm trees with coconuts and the sea is clear as a crystal." That is where I would LOVE to go. I would also say that if I could fly I would have to be a fairy. I love fairies!

If I can fly and provided my wings are not made of wax so they won't melt, I would fly up and up to see if there is really a heaven. Of course even if there is really God and there is really a heaven, it might not be a physical plane where I can reach. But hey, you can't blame one for trying right?
If I can breathe without needing oxygen and I won't suffer from radiation, etc, I would love to fly and explore space. In our solar system... beyond even our galaxy. This is way cooler than bouncing around in silly astronaut suits and elephant helmets.

Wow, yet another imaginative response. That's the one thing that everybody keeps asking themselves, about Heaven, Hell and God. It's the most naturally asked and most frequently asked question in the World and I didn't even think about it. Yes, we'll allow you the ability to fly anywhere at all... wings and organs which are resilient to any conditions in the Universe, because when we travel space as humans, we do it in an unnatural way and we are too restricted to learn about or see anything properly.
Thank you for a great response Wiz... if only, huh? You get a + rating for that and join your previous respondent in contention for best response. Can I borrow some of your medals? I have a feeling I have a tough decision ahead of me!!! ;-p.
Brightest Blessings my friend.

Sometimes I would like to be a fly on the wall to hear what people say . But like you I would like to meet all my freinds here and get to know them in person . So I would have to be there in person myself .
Then go to my makebeleive Ranch with all my horses that I would have plus all the other animals I could collect!

Right at this moment I'd fly to somewhere that doesn't have a drop of rain! We've been very fortunate in Devon and although we've missed the torrential rains, we've still had a few showers and it still isn't very warm at all! So I'll book a flight to somewhere that it doesn't rain if I can please?

You can fly to wherever you want Bizzie my friend, but you're invited to accompany me to Christmas Island! :)
The rain is beginning to get on my nerves now... we're forecast more again tomorrow... can't seem to string two dry days together, although today is very warm and not so much wind. I could do with a few more like that... I'm missing my walks. :( It's boggy everywhere, just now.
Brightest Blessings, my friend.

I can fly. I always fly when I get a nightmare. I will fly out situations, fly high into the sky as freely as a bird. I will fly over the ocean, higher than the hill summits and blend myself in between the clouds, making rain where there is drought.
I will be a fairy god-mother, flying to little children in need, giving them gifts and showering them with hope :)

What a wonderful thought. Im not sure how i would feel if i could fly. Im a bit scared of heights, so i would always be thinking 'will i fall?'. But, if i could fly i spose i wouldnt fall. I think it would be a wonderful feeling, floating through the air, the breeze on your face, a feeling of being free. But where to go to. I am not sure. Some beautiful, exotic place with no drought. (We are in drought here). An island, maybe, with lots of tropical fruits hanging from the trees.(I got food on my mind at the moment). I think i would constantly be travelling. And it would be so easy to visit friends in all different places. I think i could go on for ages here. Cheers

I was listening to Roxette's song, I Wish I Could Fly, and drifting off into a daydream when I thought of putting this in! lol. I guess you know the song? :-)
Yes, if you knew you could fly, it would be like walking I guess, you would have the confidence to do so, without falling.
**I've just had an awful thought that this might tweak a certain young lady's revenge with a flying cake, but keep your fingers crossed, he he he. Now I'm imagining doodlebug cakes all over London. ha ha ha.**
Sorry, I strayed. Thank you very much Kay for a lovely response... Brightest Blessings and I hope all your dreams come true. x

Hi again,
For some reason this post was at the top of your discussions even though you posted it 4 months ago. Oh well, hold a lot of appeal for me so here goes. If I could fly I would energetically go with one of my power animals...owl or eagle. We would take off at dusk and begin to head South...back to Moab, Utah where my hubby and I spent our honeymoeny. I'd love to fly through the canyons and land somewhere until sunrise...then from a high peak watch the magnificence of the rising rays as they danced off the canyon walls.
Afterwards we'd fly towards the ocean and feel the fresh breezes and taste the salty air. When we needed a rest we'd perch atop a magnificent Redwood until we were ready to head towards Costa Rica. After spending a few days in the rain forests and jungles there it would be off to the land of the Celts. My owl and I would spend days and weeks spotting sacred, mystical sites and spending and embracing their special energies.
After all that...who knows maybe I'd send you a telepathic message and ask if we could land in your neck of woods and share a spot of tea before heading back home to Southwestern Manitoba...where we are from. By that time I'd need to head home I'd be missing my Sweetie, our 2 dogs and 5 cats. I am sure they'd be glad to see my wings landing on our deck.
Lovely reverie...thanks for giving me the chance to fly.

Wow... that sounds wonderful my friend, and I think you might need a longer visit here and in Ireland, Scotland and Wales, in order to survey some of the neolithic and megalithic sites we have to show you. We have an abundance of them, and the feeling when you are at one of them, is indescribable. Well... not quite indescribable, but certainly one of great power and mysticism.
You just reminded me, I saw an owl last night, and what was a possible nesting place with young? I love those birds!
Brightest Blessings, and keep flying high, my dear friend.

Secondly I would like to come and visit you and Yanijaren once... You are one of my nicest friends here on MyLot.... Others I would have to think a lot... I don't have quite many dreams now for going to places.... Its just friends, love and life....

Hi Hon, If I could fly then I would love to go and meet my friends on mylot I think it would be awesome to meet them in person, I do have some relatives in other countries but as you know I am really wanting to come and see Mother England and to see all the wonder scenery you have talked about since we became friends,. Now you say that you would love to probably make a flight to Christmas Island well you could come and stay with me and we could take a trip to Christmas Island while you are here, as I have seen it on our television and it looked simply wonderful and so relaxing. I would love to be a fairy that would simply be awesome when I reach my destination I would just relax and take time to consume all the delight of my friends xx

Awwwwww, that's so sweet, Kathy. It would be just great if we could get together and fly off to Christmas Island together. It does look beautiful and life must be soooo slow and laid-back there. I always imagined it to be a very happy place. In fact, it would be grand if we could fly around the World together, picking up various friends who could also fly. It would be like a migration of birds in winter. ha ha ha
It would be great to be a fairy... not too small though or the wing power might diminish too quickly. :-) You got me drifting on a daydream now, which is not unusual for me I guess, being an air sign. I'm giving you a + rating for this, my dear friend, together with my Brightest Blessings. Thank you for such a wonderful response... love and hugs. xoxox

It would truly be wonderful to be able to fly all around the World without having the need for money, wouldn't it? As for being beautiful enough to be an angel or fairy... if not from the outside, as I've never seen your pic, then you certainly have the quality on the inside my friend, and I feel honoured to know you.
Brightest Blessings.
