I absolutely adore Blake. He is so utterly unique to anyone that has ever been on Idol before. I thought it was really cool. I told my husband that the things he can do with his mouth amaze me. He always grabs my attention no matter what he is singing. I think he is a great performer, and I never go to concerts, etc, but I would most definitely go see him.

While he finally did an upbeat song and wasn't boring, he was far from being the best. The beatboxing is so out of date and just not unique. Most musicians could beatbox all day long if they wanted to but don't because it is just not something to use. He needs to go home with the rest of the guys who can't sing this year.

He stopped his beatboxing for weeks in his performances and I think he chose a great night to bring it back. That performance will be on all the news stations today and people will be talking about it for a long time. Beatboxing is one thing, but working it into a popular song and pulling it off is another.
He's different and creative and I think he'll go a long way.

Just wanted to mention that Blake was in the "hot topics" discussion on "The View". They all love him. People just have different tastes...it's so hard to know who is on top when everyone has a different opinion of the singers.

Blake was great this week this is the first night i actually liked what he sang, now im torn between him and Phil, i have been voting for Phil. Lakisha is gone this week, i think she would of been gone last week if they would of sent someone home, she isnt that good of a singer.

He was AMAZING!! I always love it when he performs, but last night was even better than normal. He flows from singing into his beat boxing so smoothly, it really is incredible. I hope he makes it to the top 3 at least.

Blake did a great job but so did Phil, Melinda and LaKisha. In fact, LaKisha had both my husband and me breathless and with goose bumps. She was GREAT tonight.
