How green is your home? do you recycle products for the benefit of a better environment in the future? i normally recycle paper, plastics and other stuff. it's usually collected every fortnight. even if not all people do it, i think one way or the other, it helps mother earth. so, do you go for green?

Where we live there's place to put all the household that you don't need anymore. We have to separate them before we throw them in the special container...such as paper, platic, chemical, iron, plants, etc. I love this place and during the spring it will be crowded with people that throw stuff they don't use anymore after house cleaning time. And this dumpster will recycle what can be recycle.

Exactly !!!....otherwise here we have also a recycle shops for things that you don't want to have it anymore but it is in a very good condition for other people to use it....so, we dump it there and the shops will sell it with very little money and the money goes to charity.

I love greens, in our house there are lots of plants, we have coffee trees and varied flowering plants, I use to have poted plants. There are also recycling centers in our place. Help mother earth indeed.

We do recycle at home too. Things like plastic, paper, tins and garden waste are collected. There isn't any collection for bottles so we save these and take it to a recycling centre whenever we do our groceries. Our green home does not stop there though, nearly all of our bulbs are low energy bulbs. We have the odd light that does not have an equivalent low energy bulb yet. We also turn off electical appliances rather than putting it on standby. Every little helps. :o) If only the neighbours would not protest, I would like to put up a wind turbine in the backyard. hehe
