Good Sleeping weather tonight!

I don't mind the sound of rain as long as it isn't thundering cause that can be disruptive. Rainy days definitely are good sleeping days. They just seem to make people more tired. I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue and rainy days make me hurt more; so even more reason to stay in bed and sleep. (too bad that I have a toddler and can't sleep as much as I would like)

The sound of a summer's rain dancing softly on the window will often bring me to slumber more quickly. My rest is peaceful because of it.

I love the sound of rain when I go to bed and funnily enough, it has just started raining and it is time for me to hit the pillow. I often put on a CD that has rainfall playing, for some reason I find it so soothing and it sends me into a deep sleepZZZZZZZZZ

The sound of rain on the roof can be very soothing. Some professionals use this sound as background for making relaxation CD's. Even a thunderstorm can be fun to sleep under, as long as isn't too wild.

its also great for my flowers but unfortunatly also for weeds !

I get the best sleep when it rains . I have a terrible time falling asleep and staying asleep. But on the nights it rains I can lay there so relaxed and even if I'm awake it seems my body is a rest, even the smell of the rain on the grass soothes me.Eventually I do fall asleep and I'm guaranteed a great night's rest, I love a good heavy rain but I'll take even a light shower lol.. hugs Cheryl

"Listen to the rythmn of the falling rain"....love that song but can't remember all the lyrics. Yes I love to hear the sound of the raindrops splashing on the window panes. However, I am not too fond of hearing it "crash" against them when there is a strong wind blowing. Usually wakes me up.

I love to be in bed when its raining. It makes me fall into a deep and restful sleep. But I dont like the thunder and lighting.LOL Sleep tight.

Sleeping when it's raining is one of my favorite things to do and I always sleep best when it's raining. My all time favorite is sleeping in a tent when it's raining :)

definately - so long as there is not heavy winds blowing on the metal above the chimney, or booming thunder that rattles the windows. a nice rain is easy to sleep to - its soft rhythmic notes on the roof - the gentle cooling breeze through the window - and the crisp clean scent of the o-zone, positive ions.

Hello,estherlou,i also like to sleep in the rainy days as i will not go out when it is raining outside,i can sleep really well in a cool rainy days when i hear the noise of the rain water dropping onto the ground.

Oh how nice if do not have to work if it rains. I always wish the rain will come in the middle of the night and stop by the early morning so that I can have a nice good sleep.

Being that I sleep in the day, I love it when it rains. It becomes dark, with the wind and rain hitting the window panes. Just enough to lull you into a deep sleep. Thinking about it now is making me sleepy, but alas, 3 more hours of work to go. I like it to be cool, dark and rainy. That is the perfect combination for me. Not to mention the smell right before and right after a rain. I love that smell.

Hay, its raining here in my country (Sri Lanka) as well. You know last night there were severe thunder and lightning too. I wish i could be in the bed too, but, we poor people have to work (lol). Happy sleeping to you!

It is realxing as long as there is no thundering and lighting.

I like sleeping when it rains, but we had a bad thunderstorm - woke me up but still got back to sleep.
