Can guys and girls be "just friends"?

In todays world, yes it is possible. But the fact is that we are so used of seeing the things in an age old manner that we are generally ot able to accept it. Now the question that arises is that will it be a deep true freindship,..a long lasting one, then I doubt. For a lasting relationship you need trust and love and respect and care and then it is more then a friendship.

Yea i think so, well i ended up geting engaged to one of my friends who is a girl. at first we were great friends. But then i had notice we were both single, and just for fun, i asked her if she wanted to go to a dinner and a movie with me, and she was like, ok lol sure. we went as friends, but we left the movie theater as a couple, and 4 months later, i asked her to marry me! it was really wierd going that fast into our relationship, but we are soooo compatible! anyway back to topic, i have like 4 or 5 friends that are girls, and hanna, my fiance, doesnt care, because she has about as many guy friends and i have friend that are girls. Some of the girls that im friends with act like they were with the boys, which i think is cool.

Hello amar!(",) Yes ofcourse!(",) Girls and boys can be just friends. I have boy friends and they are really just a friend and no more than that. They also did not court me because as they said we are friends and friends are also important to have more than lovers because friendship is more long-lasting than being lovers. Yes, boys and girls can be just friends and still love each other as friends!(",)

They can be good friends, there are still person who became friends even they are in their opposite sexes. Actually , for me it is nicer if guys and girls can be friends, because they different personalities, they differ in their likes, if they jive and bond, i guess they respected and love each other.

Yes male and female can be friends "just friends" too.. I have a male friend that i am very close too. I am married but I also want someone whom i can talk to and who will not judge me for the things... He and I get along great though I have never met this person in person but i do hope to one day. I don't know, but I tend to find it easier to be friends with a male than it is with a female. Of course I do have sisters I can talk too about female things.. But having a male friend is always good than that way you can understand men better too!

I think it's possible. Cause the relationship between a guy and a girl not just love or something like that. I also have a friend, this guy was so great and often helping me when I was in trouble. I was his best friend since we are still on the kindergarten. And no problem about it, we still best friend untill know. As long as we knowing our boundaries, there will nothing to complain. I have a fiance and he has too. We still friend but maybe e know our boundaries further, considering our couple feelings. I think it's normal if guy and girl be just friends.

It is very possible and happens all of the time. Actually, I probably have more male friends than I have female friends.

I think we both have similar intelligence and wisdom and they can understand each other well then a boy and girl can be good friends. I have seen other members' responses and I endorse their views that it is possible.

Yes of course, though there a lot of boy and girl bestfriends end up of becoming lovers, it is still possible for them to end up as being ultimate bestfriends. I had a guy bestfriend. :) I never tried to fall for him though i find him a nice guy. And same with him. We know that we don't want to ruin our friendship so we just stayed as friends. :)

yes guys and girls be friends means just friends if they both understand each other and take care of each others feelings. as i have many friends and many of them are boys i can understand ur question very well. theres no harm being friends with girls or boys. infact we get to know each other.

of course a girl n a guy can be friends,,they could b the best of friends without any physical attractio bet them,,,i've had real good guy friends where i tell them my most intimate things n he doesn't go blabbing it 2 others n they have told me their most intimate things n up 2 today no one knows about anything we have talked about. i trust guy friends more than i trust a girl friend!!
