Are you close to your family? Do you visit them often? Keep in touch? Do you have any brothers or sisters? Are you closer to your mother or to your father? What are some of the first childhood memories that come to mind? Are you or is your family traditional? Is Christmas a happy or sad occasion for you? What is your favorite holiday with the family? Do you feel birthdays are important?

My family and I are very close. My mom and I try to get together at least one a week even if its just to hang out together. For every holiday including birthday's my extended family always get together and do things together. I love that my family is close and wish everyones family could be more like ours. Yes we fight but we always let it go after saying we are sorry of course no matter who was at fault.

That's great! I sometimes wish my family were closer than it is--we hardly even talk to one another and we all live in the same house!! My friend, Esther, has a really close family and I am so incredibly jealous of how close they are; you can just see how much love there is in her family from like a mile away.

We have our two sons in the city, but we do not see them that often. They are busy working and my daughter=in-law has lots of relatives and family. We really should, but I do not have a drivers' license so I cannot go off and the buses are infrequent in that area and besides I do not have that much money. We do get together on Christmas and Easter, birthdays -mine is next, and special occasions, but I do wish my husband would say, "Why don't we get in the car and visit --" but he is too busy listening to Harry Potter Cds or fixing up the basement, but I do want to see my granddaughter.

I have a rather large family and we love to hang out together. Holidays are the most fun but my brother and I do miss our dad who lives in Las Vegas. My brother lives a block away from me and he's over often. They watch our kids and my mom and stepdad come over often. We love being to gether all the time. Growing up my mom would start a story and we would add too it. My brother's part of the story always had a gorilla in it. LOL!

I am close to my family since then we go to church evry sunday. But when you grow up things are not the same again for i need to go to look for a job the only means of communication today is through cellphone. I really miss them badly and i wish we were still young and go to church evry sunday together with them.

I still live with my family so yes, I am really close with them. I spend at least an hour every day just chatting with my mom. My dad doesn't talk much. Our "bonding moment" is whenever we're watching wrestling. My brother, even though he's 5 years older than me, always hangs out here in my room. We talk about loads of things. Sometimes he even sleeps over, which is a bit hard, because the bed isn't big enough for both of us. We also play video games and whatever. My family is traditional. In our country, tradition is very important. Christmas is pretty happy. I mean, not as happy when I was a kid, but I'm just happy that we're all together with lots of food and drinks! Birthdays are important, but we don't celebrate them lavishly. Just a simple get together, some food...cake is really important. :)
