Just heard the sad news...

No, no, no! It can't go! I don't want it to!:( And...kids? Never mind, my mom and I were late in starting this new season, so we are just going to wait until it comes out on DVD soon. It is sad for it to come to an end, I have watched every episode and watched everyone grow!! :) Thanks for the update.

I just hope we get to see Rory get married - fast forward or something and see Luke and Loralei get back together, they can't not end up together, that would just be sad! :o(

I watch it every now and then. I will miss the Gilmore Girls.

I am very bummed. I am still behind on the sesaons in DVD so I guess the sadness won't hit me just yet though. I am still watching them on the DVD box sets.

I figured it would probably go after this season. It's been on a long time, but with the creator gone, I figured it wouldn't last many seasons after that. I love the show, but I think it will be fine going off.

I understand it has to end at some point. But I just wasn't ready! :( I don't watch a lot of TV and this is one of the shows that I DO watch. I buy each season on DVD as soon as it is released! I am truly sad that this is being canceled. Maybe they will create a spin-off for Rory. But that would be wishful thinking and it would not be the same without Lorelei. They are fast talking, full of wit and life, drama, fun, goofy, funny, and inspiring! My daughter and I will sit and have a Gilmore-a-thon Gilmore style with lots of food and snacks staying up late and watching all weekend long. It is sad to learn that this coming September when the last season is released...it will be our last Gilmore-a-thon. :(

I do want Gilmore Girls to return, only to find some redemption for this past season. I had to quit watching. I realize characters are supposed to evolve, but some of the storylines were outrageous when you considered the character involved. This past year was a low point, when two of the original creators left, but I know if the cast and writers came back, they could make it up. There is too much pinache in the cast, to go out the way it apparently will be going out. My sister will be disappointed to hear it has been canceled, because she watched it throughout the year, even when she didn't like it. Her poor husband began to like it. Those are true fans. : )

i liked the earlier seasons of gilmore girls but stopped wathching it for sometime..but when i learned that they will be no more i am also saddened. I loved Rory.

i'm really sad. it is the only tv show i follow now. the last one i followed was friends and i cried for days when that ened. it was so sad. anyway i know i'll really miss this show. i could relate to it so much and i'm really going to miss it. i'm really worried that loralei won't have time to get back together with luke i'd really like that to happen before it ends.

awww that sucks they are taking all the good shows off air and replacing them with 1/2 hour shows. Did you notice that also? I will miss gilmore girls. I've been watching it since the beginning. Maybe they will surprise us and it will be back again next year :"{

I hadn't read/heard that until I got on here this morning.It makes me sad to see it go. It's one of the few shows I watch on a regular basis and now it's over.
