Will Rachel Ray be the next Martha Stewart or no?

I think Rachel Ray will be bigger than Martha and without the jail time. Who knows maybe she'll have her own chain of restaurants. Her thirty minute meals sure have saved me and I have learned alot from her. In this day, you don't have all day to prepare for a meal.

I think popularity wise rachel ray will be like martha but personality definitely NOT. Rachel is funny and spontaneous, Martha seemed to be such a control freak, who wanted everything be done her way...

I have watched Rachel Ray a few time and she doesn't compare with Martha Stewart in her diversity. Martha is about gardening, home making, home design, crafting and cooking. Rachel is more about cooking. Her guest are nicely varied but are not about homemaking as Marta's are.So Marta doesn't have anything to worry about from Rachel

I think they're both big names and seem to be everywhere. They're both kind of annoying in their own way too. Martha has more of an empire, though, in cooking, housewares, home decor, tv, magazines, books, DVDs...Rachel, though, is still just in cooking really but maybe over time she'll branch out more too.

I don't think so. Martha is such a diverse "brand" that she has her fingers in so many pies. I can't imagine Rachael Ray sheets or garden stuff. She seems primarily to do the food stuff. Correct me if I'm wrong but all of her endorsenment deals are with food/food products right? But Martha has done paint, linens, food, plus her wide array of magazines, from bridal to children's. She (Martha) has really constructed a whole lifestyle around her personal brand.

She wont be the next Martha Stewart she is already so much better. I am a big cooking show watcher, actually it is almost the only kind of show I watch. So Rachel Ray is the best over Martha.

Rachel is so quirky & perky that she makes me sick. I do enjoy her 30 minute meals and she seems to be a smart cookie with a terrific sense of humor. I'd hate to see her tumble from grace like Martha did, but if that happens, it will be because she made a bad choice in judgement.
