In my country most of the food are spicy. Some people just love to eat chilli and don't eat without chilli paste.. Even so, I don't really like spicy food. I can handle hot food but not spicy one. What about you?

Depends weather and behavior, accord to the expertise if you have a bad tempo(bad attitude),the cold dishes will be better,if you have a passive attitude or easy personality the spicy are o.k.,now i understand too, that in some places use local species(india) to avoid the sweat.now if you have or you need special food because a medical suggestion that is another story.

I like a little spice but nothing too hot. I don't like my mouth or stomach to burn and my eyes to water.

I actually love spicy and hot food. When i go to restaurants, I generally choose those who serve spicy food like indian and thai places. when I cook at home, I put tons of spices in my food as well as red pepper. I use chili paste whenever I cook rice, a lot of it.

Chili sauce, chili paste, and anything in between. I like them but can't take them. I don't have the ability to handle spicy and hot food. But some people that I know love them. Its like they enjoy eating the spicy food while they are sweating. Whoo!

Spicy is okay but not too spicy. Spicy foods tend to kill the taste and burn my taste buds.

Hi Afternoontea. i really missed u and so i came back to mylot. Well in india also people love hot and spicy food. I used to like it too. But now a days i hate it. I love cold food, and food thats least spicy and yet tasty. I have seen food tasted equally tasty without oil and spices if it is cooked properly. If all people give it a try and eat such food a lot of diseases like ulcers and gastric trouble can be avoided.

i like hot and spicy foods . in india we add many spices .i add ginger garlic in some curries and for more spice in non veg curries called cardomom, corriander powder, nutmeg, mace, red chilli powder, cloves, fennel seeds, cinamon . we make make powder of these spices and add just 1 spoon to any curries we make. we add 2 spoons in non veg curries. we keep stock of these mixed powder in big bottle and we will add in any curry we make daily,in our indian houses.there will be no houses without these ingredients. we will add green chilli and red chilli also in every recipe we make.

I am from Guangzhou, China. The food is light and a little sweet here. It is not usual that we will eat spicy foods here. However, I like it. I especially like Sichuan spicy and it's so special.

I love spicy food. food is pretty spicy in India too. Many may frown at this practice, but food habits have been designed according to natural resources available in a area & the cuisine is usually well balanced. In India we counter the effects of spice by consuming lots of yogurt, Soya sauce in Chinese food helps in countering spicy food. I am sure Indonesian food too will have a counter to spice in food. Lets all enjoy the food the way it is supposed to be had ( the authentic & traditional way)

I used to like spicy food very much, and always add chilli paste to every food. However, one thing that happened one year ago changed my habit. At that time, "Boiled Fish with Pickled Cabbage and Chili" was my favorite, it is delicious and I ate it in lunch and supper for a weak. Then one day I found there was something wrong with my stomach, it was pained and indisposition. Two years ago, A report from india said that a british bride was killed by eating spicy food. So terrible, from then on, I have not eaten anything with chili. Nevertheless, different people have different sensitivity, some people can eat lots of chili without any problem. What I want to say is just that be careful about your health, it is precious.
