Yes one could say I am "young" to retire but was not by choice but my body had someting to do with it unfortunately, as many years of hard use as left its mark! The hardest thing has been to accept it and moved on to a new way of life, but the profession still hangs and always seem to be looking for someone to help out there when I am out! Drives me crazy! lol

Girl I can relate to the body and the marks but its good that you see the positive side of it and not let it defeat you. It's just a change of direction that's the way I look at it.

Well a stay at home housewife is just as busy as being a nurse and you are only as old as you feel. You are rather young to be retired, lucky you. lol

No matter how simple or difficult the bottom line is they will always want an easy fix. They won't look at that it took them a length of time to mess it up and that it will take an equal amount of time to fix it.

A sports bar sound like a very profitable business and a great hangout spot for sports fanatics. Credit restoration and debt consolidation are kind of difficult because people are usually looking for instant results.

I've been many things in my life Davette. Someone once said a "Jill of all trades".
My mother told me when I was very young, "There's nothing you can't do if you want to do it."
I have to say I've done most everything I ever wanted to do. I at least tried it.
Currently, I am a wife and lover to my husband. Some people wouldn't call that a profession. I have made it mine. Within that profession of being a wife and lover, I found who it was I was 'supposed' to be. I found complete contentment in being the best wife I could be to my husband. Sometimes, it wasn't always easy, but that made the challenge more interesting, to prove to myself I was the best I could be.
Inside my profession of being a wife, I have polished my gourmet skills, decorating skills, remodeling techniques, gardening and all other types of home maintenance. I have even become a better lover.
In my free time, which I have little of these days, I have learned the best ways to take care of myself.
Like you, I write. I write something almost every day.
I guess you could say I've made life my profession and I must say, it's certaily been an interesting one.

Yes. I would be happy to. The first thing to do is read the submission guidelines well. Acquaint yourself with the forum and check out and read as many articles as you can about content producing on AC. Get to know the site well. Then, check out some of the top writers there. Send them emails and ask them to give you advice.
When you are ready to submit, submit a few things just to get articles on your page. Don't ask for payment. Just get a few things out there first.
Then you can start submitting for payment.
Remember if you submit under exclusive that means it can't be printed or publishes any place else. Non-exclusive means you can publish there and other places as well.
Once you get something published sign up for the bookmark sites that promote your work.
Also, go to the forum and find the post for the AC yahoo group or go to my posts here at mylot and look for the group. I can't remember the addy exactly but you should be able to find it.
Then, start writing about what you know and love. Don't be discouraged if they decline payment. Just publish it for non payment to get it out there.
Persistence and determination help.
Subscribe to other content producers and leave comments on their work. Also, add them to your favorite CP list. If you leave comments on other articles, they will in turn leave comments on yours.
Have fun!
Let me know if I can help you.
my AC is

I think that's it. If that doesn't work let me know.

I am a manager of a college training program as well as a part-time college economics instructor. I have also started a sideline writing for some websites as well as using the internet for teaching and writing my own blog. I believe that the Internet and the media industry as a whole is growing rapidly and that there is a huge demand for good content. I think that this demand for content will provide great opportunities for people who are capable of producing and publishing quality content.
By the way, what do you write and are your entrepreneural efforts aimed at building your own business or are you an investor providing capital and expertise for other entrepreneurs?

I've had many professions over the years. I was a legal secretary and one of my very first jobs was working for the Trump Organization (yes, that Trump). I then became a paralegal and did that until I got married. I went back to college, but soon afterwards my first child came along and I worked part-time at home with my own word processing business. I've done everything else under the sun from selling Avon, to teaching and running a mommy and me program, worked as a school secretary and sold designer style handbags. Now I am going for my real estate license.

You have been busy, now I can relate I sold Avon as a teenager, I was a secretary at a non profit organization. I have taken the classes for my real estate license but opted not to take the test for the license because I became an investor instead of selling for someone else. I have purchased property through the sheriff sales in my city. Can I ask what is a "Mommy and me program" I have never heard of that.

Well I used to be a schoolbus driver and reservation specialist for a limo company, but now I am self employed. My clients are mostly seniors. I help them do things they are unable to do. I have other things I do as well like, petcare , child care, grocery shopping etc. Pretty much if I can do it.I will, except shoveling snow. I like to think of myself as a jack of all trades lol.

Now that is a heck of a change from your jobs but it takes a special person to do for seniors in this day and age.
