My husband and I dated.. and then lived together for 7 years before we finally made it official. We would have done it much sooner but we couldn't afford the wedding I wanted and by the time 7 years had passed, I was tired of waiting so we just went to the court house and said our "I Do's".

Well me and my now husband dated for 2 years then he proposed and we were ingaged for another year. Even though we dated for 3 years, the moment we met we knew it was forever. I know that sounds a little corney but its true. We took our time getting married but we met for the first time june 6th and I moved in with him september 1st (less than 2 months earlier).

I love this question! We met when I was 11 (1984) he was 15. We got common law married in 1992. We officially walked down the aisle March 11th, 2000. I am now 34 and he is 38.

We've been together over fifteen years now, as far as we are concerned we are married though we have never been to the registry office to sign the forms. Just hasnt seemed necessary so far. He is my husband in all the important ways and we are still head over heels in love. We even hold hands in our sleep.

We dated only about 3 to 4 months and we knew we were gonna get married. I had found my soulmate. But we did wait for about a year before we got married.

My story is a strange one.I dated my husband the summer of 1971.I was in NY from California for the summer.I went back to Ca..but we never really forgot each other..I came back to NY in early 1979 ran into him and we started dating and were married before 1980 arrived and we've been together since.

My husband and I dated exactly 5 years to the date before we got married. When he asked me to marry him he said, will you marry me on May 2, 1987. It was Christmas time 1985 when we were engaged. So it was also a long engagement. I thought it was quite romantic that he wanted to marry the exact date we started dating....probably so he wouldn't have to remember another date.

My spouse and I dated 3 years before he proposed to me. In those three years, we got to know one another more, and we found a lot of things in common. To this day and nearly 5 years married and 9 years together we are still happy with one another and love each other as much as the day we married.

we have been together for about a year. We moved in together after more or less a month and things have worked great for us. I am sure that we will marry in the future but still no plans like that

My husband and I "dated" for four months before we got engaged. Then we got married 5 months later. We had been on less than a dozen actual dates when we got married, though. My husband is in the military, and is stationed 1000 miles away from where we are both from. We started dating when he was home on leave once. The next time he was home we got engaged. And the next time we got married.

oh , that is all depends, you know , we need work both, so I will date each other once we get some spare time , generally , once a week , sometimes we are very busy all, so maybe 3-4 week , for we not stay in the same city, that will limited us a lot.so we try to do our best to give time to each other , when we got married , we now are in the same city , so we now can stay together everyday. that is a nice things.
