A primary school trip ended in tragedy this morning

Breaking news in my country.. a primary school at my hometown ended in a tragedy this morning.. it seems like the accident occur about 40 - 100 miles away from the school.. and there are about 30 students.. so far i heard 1 of the student died..most of them are injured.. and some are still in coma.. gosh.. this is really painful.. can you even imagine that before the trip .. the kids are actually very excited about it? i'm sure they're wondering how their destination will be like.. maybe some even prepared to take picture of the place.. and.. now.. it ended in tragedy.... the bus carrying 30+ student skidded and just bang... since my grandmother death.. i felt that life is very short.. and now.. god has proven to me again.. that life is indeed very short.. do appreciate the one you have one.. you won't know.. when you will be leaving the one you love ..

Oh how awful, what a shame it is and the anguish that these parent are going through. You are right indeed that life is short and you must appreciate the ones you have around you now. My thoughts go out the the families.

This is absoulutely horrible !! It is true that we never know when it is going to be our time but it doesn't make it any easier when something like this happens and we realize all that could be lost in a matter of seconds especially when it is supposed to be a day of fun .
My heart breaks for all these familes that must be going through hell on a day that was supposed to bring all their children joy and not sadness and pain .

I know what you mean. My husband is in Africa and is about to take a flight to Tanzania via Air Kenya and only two days ago, a plane Air Kenya crashed and there were no survivors. He was talking to me today about what to do if anything happens and I didn't want to listen to it. It scared the hell out of me and I'm praying that nothing happens to him tommorrow!
