Hi there, For more than six monthes, I've been the swing shift acting production manager. Well, They finally made me official. There giving me a decent salary, better benefits and sick leave. This is so cool, I've been waiting for this for a long time. At all the places that I've worked for I've never really worked up to being the boss before. I just had to tell everybody!!

Well, Thank you!! I'm not quite at the top but it feels good nevertheless. I dont think I'll need to be an a**hole to get people to do thier jobs. Most of them know that I was doing thier job at one time or another and I can run every piece of machinery in that plant. But I can do what needs to be done, especially when half the crew are temps. Thank you for your response!!

Congratulations and Good Luck. A good job with a reputable company is worth more than just what you bring homeeach month. Benefits are just as, if not more, important, hope the company has a pension plan and a 401k plan. I took full advantage of these benefits and now I am living, retired, quite comfortably.

Congratulations! That is super news! I love hearing about people and promotions that come with raises. Sounds like the company you work for did just that. Alot of companies give you the extra work and no extra pay. Again congrats! Good job!
