old folks can have their time at the computer, too. using it is relatively easy. the important thing is that, we are interested in tinkering with it. for as long as one is interested to do, learn and use something properly, age doesn't matter at all.

When I was 7 or 8 years old, the computer was not 'born' yet. Meaning there was no computer yet. I remember the TV and recorder just arrived in the market and became the most popular and luxury items in every households. When I was 19 years old, I started learning how to use computer. Obviously it was the very basic skill.

I was about 14 when I 1st jumped on a Mac...like we are talking 1989 here so think OLD MAC. I didn't really get to do alot as it was at school, but then in 1997 I bought my 1st computer. I have since bought 2 more with the last one being 3 years ago. My 13yo son has been on a computer since he was 3 so he is really great with them, my husband is getting alot better & actually sometimes teaches me a thing or two. But I am the computer wiz in this family, I am the one that fixes averything that happens, I built my system from the ground up with no help, I have networked the house & have things running smoothly. I am about to buy my 1st laptop so that will be fun.

Frankly speaking i learned computer at the age of 10.My daddy was having a computer and when my daddy use to do any work on it i use to ask him about computer programmes and how it works and all and one day in his absence i started computer myself and played a game on it. In this way by starting computer in his absence i learned it and today i am having my own laptop and i know more about computer than my daddy.....

I first learned to use a computer at 11 years old. I was in elementary school, and it was a computer class.

even i had operated the computer for the first time when i was 7 or 8 yrs old. the first thing i had learnt was to draw on paintbrush. it really used to fascinate me a lot. but now, i think its been a few years since i have used the paintbrush Lol!!...thx for reminding me of one of my long forgotten hobbies. i will soon go n sketch something there soon!:D

i was 35 years old then. the computer was just very much like an improved version of the typewriter yet. it was so expensive. offices hardly have one unless it was deemed necessary. i had never seen a house with a computer at home. usually, the best that a household can have was a portable typewriter.

I'm another who learned late in life, I have had my computer 3 years last march, it actually broke in march but thankfully I had taken out a 5 year guarantee on it, which was lucky as I needed a new motherboard and something else important.
I was going back to University which is why I needed the computer, I am now 47 and spend hours on the Internet. I can't imagine being without one now.

As per my memory goes when I was about 12 years I saw the first computer in a office. At that time computers cost was about a $2000. I learn't first computer when I was about 20 years. You are lucky enough to use it so early. Npw kids of 3-4 years are starting to learn computer. Time plays a great difference.
