How much would you pay for an E-book?

I am working on an E-book that teaches people how to make money. I'm not talking about a goofy list of Url's that leads people to earn me money. I mean actually teaches people about Online Marketing,SEO,MLM,and Social Networking using any program they want. Due to trying publishing and hosting I have to charge something, but at the same time I want people to be able to get it easily. I just don't know how much I should charge. On top of that I can't decide whether to Split the book into several different E-books(which means I can charge a lot less) Or leave it as one and make sure I tab it really well. The book itself has become very indepth and gives a lot more information than I've ever gotten from any of the e-books Ive downloaded. What do you guys think I should do?

It's really hard to say without knowing the content in it, I would suggest giving the first few chapters of the book for free, or perhaps the first chapter. Or alternatively.... It's become a common pratice amongst e-publishers to write ebooks (shorter condensed versions) and give those away for free download, this enables consumers to see what type of information they are getting from you, your style, content, value and encourages them to buy the bigger package which would be your "master book" I would find a a few people to test your master copy with, give it to them for free, get their opinion's and if it works for them, get them to write testimonials, this will help to promote and validate your work. One of the first questions consumers will ask is "who are you" and "what gives you authority to write on this subject" basically what have you done and achieved, the best way to get this message across is to write a free ebook chronicling your success with examples, or a website that promotes the ebook, you as an authority, even better do both if you can. I wish you all the best of luck

I planned on covering several subjects that a lot of online earners struggle with. Such as search engine optimization, finding a mass of leads for your business, managing your time, finding a program that fits you, getting referrals, Online Retail, and other ways to market online. Basically I want to be able to touch every subject that is involved with making money online. It seems too many people are selling inspirational copies and not hard cold information or How to knowledge.

I agree and what a great source that would be for many new and I suspect long time marketers as well. If you have joined here http://hubpages.com/_suaj/ please let me know so I can add you to my fan list, if you haven't I do urge you too, it would be an awesome platform for you to promote "snippets of your e-books

Sounds really neat. I kind of like the idea of making it into several books. I think people will be more likely to buy it if it doesn't cost so much to get the first one, then when they see it is useful to them, they will want the others. Be sure to let us know when you have this ready.

I think thats a great Idea. I have several subjects to cover so I'll just split them into several different copies. This will give me the room to elaborate more. Plus I can get ride of them for much cheaper or offer a package for a discount price on my master copy. I think I will be giving a few copies away for free though to see what people think of the information and see if it works for them. Heck It might as well be the mylot members I'm sharing it with. Thanks
