I personally break them up and throw them away. I break them up because, I'd hate to contribute to the delinquency of anyone who thinks signing up with AOL is a good idea. What do you do with yours?

AOL is an interactive online service. In addition to providing Internet access, AOL also offers a wide variety of content, leading industry features and a diverse online community for both beginners and experts alike.

I don't get them cause I'm not from America, but in the past we did have similar crappy providers here sending discs of them as well. In the past I hanged them turned around on my wall together with all the crappy cd's, it was a nice form of wall art and eventually got about 250 discs in total from free internet providers, free stuff along with magazines, etc :).

I made patterns on my bedroom wall out of them as well. hehe It reflects the sunlight so it made a corner of my room brighter.

I have made coaster out of them. There are a few art projects for kids (like mosaics and mobiles) that use CD/DVD disks.

I glue them together shiny side out and use them for giant Christmas decorations (outside). They look rather nice. :)

I have done the same thing. Hang them on a tree with some lights and they shine rather nicely.

I toss them. The good thing is though, they can always be used for crafts. Break them up and make things that look like shattered mirrors and other things. Or, they could always be used as really cheap coasters.

i make spikes on the outside and use them as shurikens to throw at trees or at my brother....i uh mean trees

I broke all 100 of the AOL disks and threw them all in the trashcan. I used one disk for a coaster.

LOL I agree that AOL is not a very good company to go with. I have a lot of them from different companies. I save them to use for crafts. The last thing we did was glue 2 together print side in and stick the stick on earring jewels on them for Christmas decorations. We also made turkeys out of them a few years ago.

I throw them in the trash can. Lately I haven't been receiving any, but I'm not complaining. I never tried their service and I never will. I'm happy with my Internet Explorer and other service.

I have never got any through in the mail before. Or any from other service providers come to that! I am with aol at the moment. Why do you dislike them so much? I can honestly say they provide a cheaper service than most (£14.99) and they are good for begginers like me! I have had no problems with them so far.

I just throw them into the garbage. Nobody is digging through my garbage. I am personnally not a fan of AOL, so i have not used a single AOL disk. I know some people who are happy AOL users. These are usually people with little computer knowledge and want a no muss no fuss deal. Once they use the disk they are hooked and quite content. but I have a different provider. I have already wondered if one could recycle these free AOL disks?
