you're right, the identity of the akatsuki leader is not yet identified. In manga series, it was all description of his physical identity was revealed. He has a spike hair. Rumor was, it could be, Ovito or yondaime.

i think its not revealed yet. there are still unnamed members of akatsuki who appeared in manga with an teaser image.

akatsukis leader is not yet mention in mangga... who knows it could be one from konoha village...

well,.. i think 'maybe' akatsuki has no leader,, since all of their member is really strong!! and also individualist , has really high ego and if they had their leader.. i dont think that the other akatsuki member want to admit that there is really someone who ability is higher than themself.. and also i dont think that they want to obey their leader, because u see, that most of them always think that himself /herself is the strongest one in akatsuki . we can see so far.. that in akatsuki member it self, there are already different opinion between them .
