The main cause of the indian team failure in the World Cup was that they were unable to handle the ball well with bat on bouncey pitches. Every now and then they played so badly on these pithces that it resulted in there exit from the World Cup. Secondly BCCI should try to bring new blood in Indian Cricket Team. They need not to throw the senior players out. They may be phased out one by one in a planned manner, so that new young players may get a chance to learn from them the basics.

I feel the indian crciketers esp. batsmen lack proper application, mental toughness was missing. Good teams are those that can play in any conditions or adjust better to pitches. In India we need to prepare sporting pitches that provides enough encouragement to both batsmen & bowlers. So that good quality of players with good temperament can emerge. We should not only go by players scores, centuries, records but also how good he plays under pressure or under trying circumstances when his team needs him the most. We need to promote cricketer at school and university level in a big way. And also find ways to tap the talent in rural areas which can then trained t become better cricketers.

Young blood , fast pitches? I feel Not enough!!! Patronage for the ranji trophy and popularity of first class cricket is required. I feel players don't feel the pressure enough at that levels. If there is a Ranji trophy finals going on and a useless India vs Bermuda type match, people should prefer watching the Ranji trophy!! I don't know much regarding pitches, but I can't understand why bouncy pitches are not made in India when West Indies in the same tropical zone has such. Of late I have a feeling, Sehwag comes to form only with lower teams. How long to wait till he gets to form ? A tour to Bangladesh after the world cup...What hopeless schedules are they coming up with? I now seriously feel that team worked as a unit under Ganguly than now.I feel we can have less of such tours and more of visiting England, SA and Aus... Young blood for sure but well trained, tough ones. Not people who promise and are never consistent.

Yes india need young blood and fast pithches because in india we have slow pitches but in all over the word we played on fast and bounci pitches we defeated there because our batsman haven't practice to play that kind of pitches thats why we needed fast and bounci pitches in india and we also need young blood in india because they increase confident of our team and there fillding also a plus point for india and a sugest we need some quality fast bowlers who bolls at list 150km/s and we also need quality all wornders if we want to win next word cup these things are nessasary.
