Yah, I have encountered trouble sleeping but not that as often. Whenever it happens, I just pray, drink milk then take a rest. After sometime just got back to my regular habit of sleeping. I'm thankful that need don't to take any medicine be able to sleep.....

i hope that i will be able to overcome my difficulties just as you can easily deal with your sleeping troubles. at most nights i used to rub my neck, back and chest with cold rub. it gives me a soothing effect. i might not be able to sleep immediately, but it gives me a feeling of being rested.

Lavender is a very good sleep aid. I've recently posted a discussion on it, in fact, so if you would like to take a look at my post, here is the link...

... this discussion is all about lavenders different uses for insomnia, and I think it might help you. There's rather a lot for me to write here, so I sure hope so.
Brightest Blessings.

i am just like you...sleep is such an elusive thing for me. my condition has improved when somebody told me to try the fruit diet. i eat only fruits from waking up until 10 o'clock in the morning. the fibrous fruits which will be good for this purpose includes papayas, pineapples, apples, grapes, guavas, pomelos, oranges and water melons. regular meals will commence from lunch till dinnertime. midnight snacks are forbidden. go to bed as soon as you will feel sleepy. remember also to take light exercises in the morning before meals. jumping jacks for 10 to 20 minutes will be good enough.

Benedryl. It's not exactly a medication since the primary purpose is to stop the itchies. But Benedryl is the PM part of Tylenol PM and Advil PM. If you don't need the anti-inflammatory part than 1 or 2 capsules of plain Benedryl will put you out. And make you not have any itchies, too.
With what you have lack of sleep sets up a vicious cycle of bad sleep/pain, worse sleep/worse pain so please get help with the sleep issue, long term.

Before my mama got sick, she was having trouble sleeping at night but took many naps thru the day. The doctor told her to stay awake the rest of that day and all night and the next day and then when she went to bed the next night she would be back on schedule. I used to tell her she was like a baby that had their days and nights mixed up. :-) I wouldn't suggest any type of sleeping meds, but there again, I don't take meds unless it is a HAVE TO case.

I used to be a person who sleeps a lot and enjoy sleeping. Since 2 weeks I have a lot of stress in my life and I have troubles sleeping, I wake up always very tired and I am not in a good mood all day long. And I blame the big amount of stress I have lately.
