you do not. Have you heard this train of thought? its simply not true because you have to be more motivated and actualy you work more hours. You dont delegate as much because you are the one who does it all..what do you think? I have wondered why some people believe this when its just not true.....

Good points. You have to have the get-up-and-go mentality to make it work. Self motivation is the key. I don't care what others think. I like to work from home and it can be easy. But it is not always easy. If people are saying that working from home is easy, then why don't they try it? That would mean that having a regular job and going to work is hard. Hmm, I wonder how many going to their jobs everyday are working all that hard? And what defines whether a job or working at home is easy or hard? I want to work for the least amount of hours in exchange for the most money. You can trade hours for money, or trade ideas for money. I they call me lazy, who cares? Why do I want to be a slave, working tons of hours and making peanuts? Their are alternatives, but few want to pay the price to get what they really want. That leads them to complain about everything that is not right in their lives.

So true. I own my own company and work day light to dark during the warmer months. There is also a lot of paperwork involved.
There are long days and they get longer when you add the paperwork.
People don't understand this. They think I should hire people to do it for me. WTF??? Then it would be just like the other companies. Our work is better than the others.
If I hired others to do it for me then it would go to crap like Wal-Mart and McDonalds. I have to be there for quality control.

I agree with you. Working at home or working for yourself is hard, especially when you are starting out. It's really hard to get contacts, do your accounting, make sales, and all the other things that you need to do to earn a living. I know with me, on days I don't work at home, I really work all day and night. I may take breaks whenever I want and I usually don't have to deal with lazy coworkers or incompetent bosses, but I have to deal with customers, lost merchandise, and delivery problems. And, don't get me started on taxes.

Oh I've heard this many times, particularly when I was a 'house wife' or 'homemaker' as some say. Now I do all that stuff as well as earn a living to support my family from home - my normal day means 18 hours of WORK!

I agree with you, it's not easy to do this work at home stuff. It's literally a task that takes time. It's not easy for people like me, but knowing that I get paid for writing or designing sites for others, makes me pretty happy.
