How do you celebrate Mother's Day?

My mother has passed on, but I will take flowers to put on her grave. My husband will probably take me out for dinner, or he and the kids will take care of cooking a special meal. My older kids all call or will stop in - usually surprise visits. It has always been a nice day for me.

This will be my first Mother's Day without my mama. She passed on in September. This is going to be such a sad one for me. My husband usually grills, so I don't have to cook, or all the kids and him take me out to eat. No one has said anything so far this time. I sure hope I don't have to cook on Mother's Day and then the next day is our 31st wedding anniversary so maybe they'll do something for us.
