JRR TOLKIEN do modern people still reading that stuff??

I love Tolkien, Iv read everything I could when I was little seems like now kids read only Harry Potter,
I like that too, but Tolkien is classic, I would put him in the school program if I could. And as far as I concerned he is the one who inverted fantasy literature.

I doubt if J R R Tolkein will ever go out of style, his work is truly classic fantasy literature. When the movies appeared everyone rushed off to buy his books and a new generation learnt of hobbits and wizards. His work will always be classic to me

Yeeeh, I've got an ally in here. Of course I am still reading Tolkien's books, in fact I had his books, all of them, but sad to say nothing left for me because those who borrowed my books never returned it. Now I only have four, and now am still looking for the copies of all of his books regarding middle earth....
And it is great to put Tolkien in literature program, the study would not be a bore...

Yes, both my girls read them as soon as they could. I read them the hobbit when they were little and they became great fans. I know when the movie came out their friends borrowed their book alot.
