Okie dokie, I quite simply wanna know what your thoughts are on a good present for my parent's anniversary coming up. I don't really "do" cliched, boring same-old kinda presents, but I doubt they'd appreciate anything wacky and far out. I've not been able to come up with anything interestng-can you?

What about a photo album or a scrapbook of their life together? You can make it pretty easily and cheaply, or buy a premade fancy on on Etsy or eBay. I think that would be a nice way to show that you care without handing them yet another candle stick or a bungee jumping lesson they will never use.
I hope you find the perfect gift!

Heh, thank you =) I've been considering that, actually, as I've just made something similar for my boyfriend. Thanks for backing up my own thoughts ;)

I know you got the idea for the scrapbook but what about doing it on a dvd that they can watch together of their life with music playing in the background. I've used windows movie maker to make one of my daughters first year. Your able to add pictures with music and make them do different things. You can also add videos music, titles. Microsoft power point is another program you can use.

Aside from gifts, why don't you set them up on a date? Book them at a hotel or reserve a table for them at their favorite restaurant. Or you could make them dinner yourself and make the house specially nice so they can spend some quality time together without the kids or anybody else who might get in the way.

In my opinion I think when it comes to buying gifts that one of the best gift to give is something that is crystal or glass. It can be formed into so many different shapes that it gives you a range of choices to choose from. In order for us to help give you ideas for your parents anniversary, I think we have to know more about them. This would include things they like, and what they do. An example of this would if they both like tigers maybe you could by them something that represents that. But then again something interesting to me could also be a painting of the two of them when they first started their marriage. They might Love this gift!!! Give it a thought and let me know what you think.

You could make a video for them together without them knowing that it's your surprise gift for their wedding anniversary. You could just make some good excuses while thinking things that needed to be done on that day you'll bring them two somewhere to make their videos. Make it natural that they won't be thinking or get any ideas of what you've been doing.

Give them a romantic date. And in that date you are going to present the memorabilia of your family. The sad and the happy part of their life as a couple

You can give them a painting related to something they love...
That could be anything, but since not both love same thing, you can give them something related to anniversary...
Once decided send the picture to http://www.paintyourlife.com/ they make the painting for you.
