Dates- How often do you and hubby get out?

I told my husband when we had achild that as much as possible we would need to try to spend sme alone time together. Well, the only thing is he is in the military and we have no friends or family near so getting a baysitter is hard. WE try at least once a month, but usually we spend it doing shopping we can't do with our daughter. Ladies, how often do you get a date?

My husband and I go out the last Saturday of every month. Our familys take turns watching our son and we get to have a night to ourselves full of dinner, drinks, and sleeping in Sunday morning.

We hardly ever get out! I think we've been out together 3 or 4 times in the past 4 years. Sad, huh? We would really like to have regular dates with each other and just get away, but it's nearly impossible. We don't have family nearby and I've only found one teenager so far that I trust to babysit (and she's only done that for very short periods of time and not for our "dates").
I need to work on that!

When I was in junior high and high school I used to babysit for a lady who had two boys. they were in a band and would be gone all the time. Like friday and staurday nights I would get there at 6pm and not leave till 3am. I was always babysitting, but the paid me good money so I kept coming back for more.

not enough thats for sure. Does sitting at the table eating dinner together count? lol I'm so picky about who babysits my daughter its not funny. So it makes it really hard for me to find a babysitter that I can trust and they have to stay at home with her.

I have to say that it has been over two year since my partner and I went out on a "date". Mostly it is my fault. I only have one person babysit my children, my mom. I don't like to ask her to watch the children so that we can go have a relaxing evening. We try to steal private little moments after the children are sent to bed.

We sure dont get out enough. I think the last time we went out on a :date" was over a year ago and we had our baby with us cause nobody wanted to watch him ( he has alot of medical problems). We have 4 kids together and time alone is almost inpossible for us.

I know exactly what you mean, we have 4 kids as well! When you only have one or even two kids it is way easier to get a babysitter than when you have 4 kids!

We are lucky if we have "date night" once every 2 or 3 months, I can count on one hand the number of times we have been out alone in the last year. And yes, one of the times was Christmas shopping.

We go out a couple times a month on dates. We have no kids but I am busy working and my hubby goes to full time school so it is hard to find time
