Gee, Snow, you always come up with such interesting discussions. You probably know most of this but I'll go ahead anyway. My name is Terry, I'm happily married (sorry ladies), in june we'll have our 10 year wedding anniversary. I dont have any kids of my own but my wife has 4 grown kids that I see whenever they need something. I was born in Seattle Wa. and I now live in Tacome Wa. so I havent really wandered far from home. I've been working at the same plant for 12 years now and I just got a very big promotion to production manager. I really enjoy Mylot when I can but due to working such long hours I dont get to spend much time here during the week. I can be a real smart alec at times so dont take offence if I say the wrong thing and I'm really a big tease. I guess thats me in a nutshell. Take care!!

I am divorced to I have 2 Children one Boy 23 who is a Painter and Decorator one Girl 20 who works in a Hotel they both live elsewhere as I moved away 4 months ago I have a little Dog called Gissi who is my pride and joy just like my kids I also have a lovely Man who cars for me a lot I am Disabled with a couple of Illnesses and still trying to digest it after 5 Years I enjoy reading, Computer and I love helping People and being there for them I always have when when I was working I think that is about it lol

Hello, Ms Snow! My name is Kortnee, I'm 23 years old and a mostly single mother to my ten month old son, Robbie. I say mostly single because while I am no longer with his father and have a boyfriend, we don't live together and I am not dependant on his income. My boyfriend and I have been together for roughly four month, but we knew each other for three years prior to developing feelings for each other. Robbie lives with me mostly, but he sends every weekend with his daddy. Currently, I am a stay at home mom. After the break-up with my ex, I moved back home with my parents and they have been helping me out a lot to ensue I could stay at home with my son for as long as possible. I think it is getting to the point though where I will soon need to go back to work. Bill collectors are really starting to nip at my heels to get the last few bills paid off. Aside from playing with my son and spending time with my boyfriend, I enjoy video games, Role-Playing (Vampire: The Masqurade in particular), miniture table-top gaming, crafting, web and grapic design, watching movies, listening to music, dancing, swimming and other things I can't think of at the moment.

I am 24 yrs old, just got married this Jan and now came to CA with my hubby due to hi project work around. These days leading my newly married life and enjoying being here, basically I am from India and sometimes I really use to miss my friends and family there. Hi snow - pleased to meet you. Nice idea for a discussion. OK - about me - my name is Rose and I reached the dreaded age of 50 last week (not used to saying that yet - LOL!). I am from London, but my Mum was from Belarussia, so I am definately very proud of my half-Russian ancestry despite being born and bought up in England. I'm divorced since my early 20's, and now live with my partner of the last 20 years in London. We never saw the point of getting married after our first disaters - yes he is divorced too! The little girl down the road calls me the "Cat Lady", and I love it and take it as a compliment - I have 5 cats, and am always "adopting" other waifs and strays - my cats are my "babies". I am vegetarian and very committed to a world where we respect all nature and animals. A few other randowm things about me......... 1) I love the theatre, travelling, rock music, and tennis 2) I speak 5 languages fluently - English, Russian, Spanish, French and Serbo-Croat 3) I'm terrified of thunder and lightening! I am a stay at home mom, I have been married to the love of my life for one year (we had been together since 2000), together we share a beautiful 11 month old daughter, and we have a shihtzu named Katie. I live in Canada, and all of my family is scattered across Canada, the States, and Australia. My closest relative (my brother) is about a 9 hour drive away, and having no family close by is hard at times to deal with. I love making friends and mylot hehe! Not sure what else to say so hope that's ok!

As you know I am born in April. I live in Tennessee married almost 25 years in August 7th, have one daughter she just got married in January 6th and found out recently she is going to be a mommy so I will be a Grandmother in October,I am deaf and can't hear too good on the left ear. (Birth Defect) I can sign language and lip read too. I survived 31 mini strokes in couple of years ago I fought so hard because I wanted to see my daughter graduated from High School (I made it with out a cane) I had to learn to walk, write hold a fork all over again just like a child I am back to normal now.My daughter and her hubby lives here with us and planning on moving out since things are tight. I am just a homemaker and I was a teacher for my daughter whom I homeschooled her for along time.It's nice to meet you too Snow :)

WEll i am a single mother of three but not for long cause i have a wonderful other half just waiting to merge into my happy home. I have two boys and a girl. Jordan is my oldest and he is 15 and Jamie is next he is 12 and Nicole is my daughter she is 10. WE live in Nova Scotia Canada. I work as a custodian and a Program support assitant working with special needs children at our local schools. My parents are disabled and my dad has a boat building hobby and does some really nice work. My brother is my only sibling and he is a mechanic by trade and his girlfriend Mindy works at a local video store. I love working out at the gym and working on my lot. I am a very warm and sunny person. I take matters to the heart though and i try to help everyone that i can. I dont like to depend on no one though i think it is because to many people have let me down in life. I am always striving to be all i can be.

My name is Deni, I am 43, I have three children, a son who is 25, who is married and has two children, a boy, 5, and a girl, 2, my older daughter is 24, and will be getting married next month, she also has two children, a girl, 2, and a boy, 8 months. My youngest daughter will soon be 17. I was born to military parents, overseas, and grew up in several different states in my early years, but spent 36 years in PA, until last year when my husband and I moved here to NC. It's nice here, but PA is home, and I can't wait to go home next month for my daughter's wedding.
