A sad night on American Idol.

I only saw the first performances of all 4 (I have the rest TIVO'ed and plan to watch it today), and I have to say that I was completely underwhelmed. The only one who really stood out for me was Jordin Sparks. I thought Blakes interpretation was awful and I think he could be in real danger of elimination.

I didn't get to watch it last night, but I will definately be watching it tonight. I hope Lakisha goes home tonight.

I think most nights are a "sad" night..well boring anyway...I find Blake and Jordin are the only two worth tuning in to see, just to see what they sing..Blake will always do something entertaining whether he pulls it off or not and Jordin is a good singer whereas Melinda and Lakisha both just sound like a million other singers that have already come and gone, yet not exactly that good...Melinda has been trying to yell a lot lately it seems, sounds bad.. I thought that Jordin did great on her first song! The rest of the songs for everyone weren't all that great. I love the BeeGees also, so it was kind of a bummer of a show. I love Blake, but he really did not do well at all! I am thinking that either Blake or Lakisha will be going home tonight~ we'll see soon.

I thought all the performances last night were below par. I think a lot of it was due to the music selection. I hate the Beegees, always have. I never was a Disco Diva and thought the music was pointless. That being said I think that they could have done better. Blake was a let down I thought. The beat box thing is getting a little stale. I think tonight Lakisha or Blake will be gone. I am hoping Lakisha goes as I don't think she has much of a star personality. I would like to see Blake do a song that he can sink his teeth into. Over all I think that Melinda is the best.

I love songs from the BeeGees and from that era. Jordin sang one of my favorite songs from that time from Barbara Streisand. I don't think they did well at all. Blake really didn't do well, especially on the second song. I couldn't believe it. He couldn't quite get the vocals right.

The contestants did do well, but I was just not impressed by Blakes performance. I have a feeling he may be the next one to go, and how unusual he is the ONLY guy now. I feel very strongly about Jordan now, she has such a fantastic voice on her that I do hope she wins idol. But then there is Melinda, who did well but I was not to happy with her performance last night. With 3 weeks or 2 weeks remaining, we will have to see what happens.
