Lovely post! Your mom sounds awesome! And what a wonderful idea. I just had my first grandson this past February so I think I will drop a card in the mail to my daughter since they live out of town. Thanks for such a great idea!

Thats so sweet, and reading this made me think of my mom too. My mom and I are truley best friends. I get the impression you are close with your mom as well...it really is a blessing to have such wonderful moms. I only hope I am as good of a mom to my children as my mom is to me.

That's very nice and thoughtful of your mother. It is these small acts of kindness that can make a big difference in the world. I think that parents are our basic relationship and by example, they make a better and closer family, which in turn makes a better and closer community, which in turn makes a better and closer society, which in turn can make a better and more loving world for all of us.
