What would you do if your boyfriend fell for your best friend

I always see this scenario in movies but I never thought that it would happen to one of my closest friends. Her current boyfriend broke up with her just to hook up with her best friend. How cruel is that? I am trying to figure out why it happened and also consoling my close friend. Can you give me feedbacks of why this could have happened? I don't know what to tell my friend. All I know is that she doesn't deserve that schmuck..

oooh, that wud be twice the heartbreak and twice the betrayal. i dun think i wud trust anybody in my life again....! n ur rite, ur friend doesnt deserve to be treated like this.

i think that's one of the most terrible things in the world. she lost best friend and boyfriend at the same time. fortunately she still has you as her best friend. try to distract her attention so that she can recover from the suffering.
