Lakisha voted off

lakisha is really great... i even want her to be the nxt idol... but sad to say her first song sdoes not fit her voice... she should have sang another song... there is also a big chance that the nxt one to be voted out would come from the girls since only one guy is left... so the ladies vote defintely distributed to them all... i hate to see lakisha go... i love her from the start...

Well, I feel it was definately her time, and not surprised at all when she was voted off. Actually in some ways, I am surprised she lasted as long as she did. And I totally agree that she was a lot better in the beginning than in the end, and what was with her almost shouting the words to some of the songs?

Well compared to the other three, I think it was her time to go. She is a great singer and no doubt will be picked up by some music company for sure. I think the final will be between Melinda and Jordan. Melinda is in a class of her own and adapts to any style of music/singing. Blake has added a lot of originality to his songs (i.e. beebox - sp?) but not sure if many people like his style. Jordan on the other hand is very young, most definitely talented and struggles with a few of the songs she has been singing lately. I love that her personality shines through them all though. Not long to go!

I think that her song choices hurt her a great deal,but I think that it was time for her to go! I would like to see Jordin win this year and I believe that it may come down to her and Melinda. Although I personally want to see it be Jordin and Blake in the final. I hope that next years' contestants are better than this year as I don't feel that any of them were outstanding although, Phil rocked!!

Well I think it really was her time to go. The other singers particularly Melinda and Jordin outshined her in many instances and like the previous performance night, it was almost sure that the one leaving could only be her or Blake. She's got lots of fans today anyway, so I guess she'll get through to the business very well. I want Melinda to win Idol.

hi sanderson Lakisha is my favourite, i tip her to win the competition. I really hate to see her go. She got strong powerful vocals, she was very consistent in the beginning but the last 2 rounds i noted a slight slack off. Although people have been saying Merlinda has the best vocal in Idol history, but I simply do not like her. I can't feel her "connection" with the audience. Since Lakisha is out of the competition now, I'm rooting for Jordin to upset the odds!
