The UPS stopped at my home yesterday. My husband walked down the driveway to meet him. My husband came into the living room with a smile on his face. He reach me the package and together we opeded it.
Surprise! It was 18 roses of various colors. They were beautiful.
The card said"To the Best Mom in the world...
I love and appreciate you....
I think you're the greatest...
Happy Mother's Day!!It was just beautiful both the card and the flowers. My daughter lives too far away to come home for mother's day but she will call, I am sure. Being a mother is just the best job in the world.

As long as your children is healthy, you have a wonderful mothers day already. :) They grow up too soon and move away. Then you wish they were little again. Happy Mothers day to you.

A call from you on mother's day will mean more to your mother than all the flowers in the world. Trust me, I know. Have a wonderful mothers day, both you and your mother. :)

My daughter lives a nine hour drive away so she bought them from Pro Flowers. They were delivered by UPS. I was surprised to but I love them. I could not believe that this was the same child that used to say "I hate you" LOL Thank goodness they outgrow that stage. LOL
You kids will send you flowers when they get older. They learn to appreciate their mother. :)

That's so sweet, happy mother's day.
I also live far away from my parents, maybe I should give a call to my mom next day, I call them generally twice a week with out any thing special, just chat about some common things around us. It is hard for me to show my love to them directly in front of them. Maybe a unpredicted present is a nice way.
To all mothers.

That is so wonderful.. I am not a mother (I am a step-mom, his kids don't do anything for me) but I still have my mom. She is at my brother in Fla and she will be home on Sat. So I can spend some time with her on Sunday. Then that evening she will go into the hospital and on Monday she will have a total knee replacement done. But we will have the whole day together. Happy Mother's Day

What a great mothers day gift I would have loved to see the look on your face when you saw the flowers. My daughter is coming to visit me from away for mothers day so I am looking forward to that and the photos of my grandchildren and great grandaughter (who is just a delight) she has always brought presents and this year I said don't worry about a gift as she is giving me a gift of herself this mothers day. I hope all mothers everywhere have a lovely day and I pray for all those who will be without their mums for this day. God Bless.

Happy Mother's Day, villageanne. The roses are very beautiful. I've sent flowers using Pro-Flowers before, and they do a great job in sending nice flowers.
On Sunday (Mother's Day), my daughter is turning 45. She was born on Mother's Day in 1962. That was a very special Mother's Day for me. I live in FL and she lives in NY now, but we'll speak to each other like we normally do on any special occasion. Speaking with my kids and getting pictures of them and their families means more to me than anything they could give me. When they do ask what I'd like, I always say "send more pictures". Both my son and my daughter have sent me flowers in the past, and I always enjoyed having them around the house to brighten things up. Thanks for including a picture of the flowers.

Oh village they are beautiful! What a thoughtful daughter you have. I got some flowers yesterday too. Mine were a bit different. The flowers had little 'petals'...each a different size. They were made of construction paper. I had to look at them very closely before realizing that the flowers were a tracing on my baby granddaughter's hands!! Mommy had traced the little hand and cut it out of several colors of paper. Then each hand was rollled and taped. These were stacked one in another over a stem made of pipe cleaners. The boquet was beautiful!!!! They are in a vase on my desk! Wasn't that a precious idea?! They came complete with a gorgeous mothers day card addressed to 'Granna.'

How sweet!!:) And so pretty! I'm glad that she was able to send something since she couldn't be there in person. Like you said, I'm sure she'll call, as well. She'll want to make sure you got them. How far away does she live from you? How often does she get to come home? We're 800 miles from home, ourselves, and try to go home twice a year but gas it killing us!
My husband bought my Mother's Day but he bought it early and I pretty much picked out what I wanted. My sons are to young to do much, even though my oldest brought home a card he made for me today at school. A lady was selling charms and you can build your own bracelet. The picture isn't very good, since it was taken with my phone, but you get the general idea. I want to buy more charms to add to it. Right now it has my sons names as well as a little boy (for eacd one) with their birthstones and it says mother of two. I also got a charm that says I love my husband. You can add and take away links and there are a couple more I'd love to get.

It's brushed silver. I hope this works, since this is my first photo upload to a discussion. Ever. lol
