my favorite readings used to be fantasy than I moved up to horror and than to true crime and I have mostly been reading action/drama so I guess I jump all over as long as the book is interesting,

I love mysteries, romances, science fiction. Right now I'm reading Stephen King but am also sneaking a look at Madame Bovary. I do not like true to life stories, since I can read that everyday in the paper and that is plainly non-fiction.

I read fiction and science fiction. Some of my favorite writers are Clive Cussler, Tom Clancy, James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell, Sue Grafton, and so many others. I do read a lot.

I like to read and I read all different kinds of books. One of the best books I read which was a real eye-opener for me was called Waltzing With a Dictator. My daughter was urging me to hurry up when I bought it and I just grabbed it - thought it might be a historical romance or something like that. Well it wasn't. It was about Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos and how drawing a small salary for being President of the Phillipines they became millionaires because they were getting the bulk of the money given by other countries to help out the poor people of the Phillipines. They were basically robbing their own people. After reading it it was my opinion that she was more of the dictator than him. Another one I really enjoyed was 1916 by Morgan Llywelyn. It is a novel about the Irish Rebellion. It has some fictional characters in it as well as actual people. It is very good and gave me more of an insight into the problems with the IRA and what started it all. For me a lot of my reading is just as much of an education as an enjoyment.
