when you were a kid, how did you avoid eating the foods you hated?

we all have our "hate" foods when we were kids, right? mine was squash and bitter gourd, known in our country as ampalaya. i also hated fish (but now, i learned to like it) and i also hated vitamins (they just taste like rust). as a kid, i had my own ways of escaping the ugly taste of those foods. i drowned them always with water. i pretended to be choking whenever they would spoon my mouth with those foods and voila! instant water drowing the taste. :) what about you? what were your escape tactics?

I HATE VEGETABLES WHEN I WAS A KID!
I really hat vegetables when I was a kid, I hate all kind of vegatables! I don't have many ways to escaping eating that, my only methold is CRY~~~~~~~~. I cried badly when I was asked to eat vegatables. You know what, it works. Because my mom hate my crying most.
Fortunately, I am healthy now. What funny is vegatables are my favourite now.
