what do you do when you're alone at home?

for me, its a blessing when i am alone at home. i can have peace and quiet and i can exercise well without any disturbances. i just started this new exercise routine which aims to shape up my abdominal region. when im alone at home, i cook, watch tv and sometimes dance around the house. :) what about you? what do ou do when you;re alone at home?

I'm almost always home alone, and I have several things I like to do in privacy. Exercising, as with you, is one of the things you can do better alone. I also like to read books, do craft work, bake cakes and scones and in the summer months, I love to laze in the garden with my book and a cold drink. There's nothing better.

yes, i agree, i exercise better when i am alone because i get a bit self conscious when someone is watching me when i exercise. lolz.
wow, you know how to bake cakes and scones? hey, by the way, what are scones made of? i have read about them in some of my pocketbooks but i dont really know what they are. we dont have that here in the philippines. lolz. :)

I'm not home alone very often. When I am I usually take a bath in peace. I might read a book or just answer posts here on myLot. I might even sneak in a nap.

haha, well, i guess thats one of the nice things that happens when we are alone at home, we can do anything we want to do without anybody telling us what to do or without anybody ordering us around. lolz. :)

I also tend to exercise better when I am home alone. But I have become a bit lazy during my unemployment and can easily sleep all day if noone bothers me. I don;t do it often, but at least twice a month. I love to lay in the bed all day with no responsibilities for hours.
Now that school is out, I am finding myself being more active with my teenager at home with me. It's nothing for me to chase her through the house because she is bugging or picking on me. We tend to pick on each other quite a bit! It's a good thing (I'm sure!).

hello there. :) yes, i agree with you, it does feel so nice to just lay in bed for an indefinite time, not thinking of any problems. lolz. :) i used to do that when i was still an irresponsible brat. lolz. but now, i only do that just like you, about once or twice a month, especially when its Sunday. :)

When I am home alone, I try to do alot of work on the computer that I can't normally get done at any other time. I like to talk on the phone to my best friend too as I can talk without being interrupted.
I will occasionally read too but the girls and I will usually do that together so I don't do that often.
Now that my husband is working out of town, I like to clean while the girls are asleep or at the park playing with friends.

hi there. guess what, when im alone at home, i spend a lot of time on my computer too because there are times when i just get too preoccupied with serving my family members that i end not getting to do what i have to do in the computer. lolz.

I am always alone at home during the day; i am a housewife! and i really hate being alone! But i will still answer your question... i clean everywhere and then i cook something and eat while watching tv!!!
But sometimes its very nice to be alone at home with oneself and do our favourite things... and my favourite is cleaning the house till im completely tired! lol

hi there. :) guess you have grown to hate being alone because you end up being alone everyday. :P well, its nice that you have a lot of time for yourself when you are at home. sometimes, people just want to be just like you, to be a housewife, rather than be so busy and stressed with their office work. :)
