Boys who grow up without fathers are twice as likely to be criminals

And yet many women take a very casual attitude toward deliberately having and raising sons without men in their lives. I don't think this is right. What do you think?

I'd be interested in seeing what the reasoning behind that would be then, does it happen in particular families, is the mother in this case unable to support her kids financially, etcetera. What are the factors playing a role here?
