Something wrong with paypal!

Hi, I just wanted to ask if anyone had
noticed any changes on paypal?
I earn money online and always get paid by paypal.
Two days ago I couldn't accept the payments because I don't
have a bank account in America.
Before, I could click on some agreement about using this money
to send other paypal users ( buy stuff on eBay or something ) but now
I can't do that.
Do you know anything about this?
I'd be happy if someone could tell me what just happend :S

It is most likely some kind of money laundering protection.
I think there are limits to how much you can receive without providing a bank account or some kind of verification that you are who you say you are.
Simply add a bank account, if you are not happy about associating an account with your PayPal account, perhaps you could open a saving account simply to receive funds?
You best bet is to contact PayPal and find out what the problem is. I have found customer services to be very helpful in the past.

I can't open a bank account in America because I live in Iceland.
Therefor it seems like I'm in big trouble :P
But your answer makes sence maybe they're doing this
to be sure that there are no scammers using their site.

WOW, one of my best friends lives in Iceland...
Amazing country, of course being the sensible chap that I am I visited in January!!! Still had a fantastic time though, despite it being a bit cold, even managed a visit to the Blue Lagoon, it was like going swimming in a bath tub, not to be missed if anyone visits Iceland.
Have you tried adding a credit card, this can act as a means of verification I believe. Maybe they will add Icelandic Bank Accounts in the future.

Yes I have added a credit card but they still won't let me accept the payments.

I don't think that you must open bank account in america. I have bank account in Finland and I have verified my bank account to paypal, so I don't have any limits. I used my visa electron to do that. Luckily it worked with visa electron, because I can't get real Visa, not yet though.

I don't have a visa card.
But I can't put bank account from Iceland,
the numbers are to many.

I just phoned Paypal to find out why I couldn't accept the payments in my account and was told it was a temporary problem that will hopefully be fixed before the weekend. :)
It amazes me how quick we all are to decide this must be because of something linked to egold, terror or even worse.

well, a few days ago paypal was doing site maintainance. So don't worry all will be back to normal.
