Why are essays always left to the last minute?

Is it just me or do other people leave their essays to the last minute? I had to run today just to hand my essay in on time at university which is not a very clever move. Is it human nature to try and avoid essay writing?

gittabest Same problem here. I have to turn one in the day after tomorrow and I haven't even started. This "I'll do it tomorrow" attitude is not a good idea but I still always end up going with it.

gittabest Hahaha well it contains a lot of numbers :P but I live in Iceland, we have a lot of waterfalls that provide electricity, don't ask me how that works hahaha. But yeah I think electricity here is cheaper than in most countries.

gittabest Pretty much all the time unless I have to turn it off for some reason or if the electricity goes off or something like that. When I want to use the computer I can't stand to wait for like 3 minutes while it is turning on. If I want to Google something I better...

gittabest Yes, three of the four banks we had here. The krona just keeps on loosing it's value and now normal people can't even buy things from other countries. Thank you for your answer, it's all true.

gittabest Usually I do. Stuff like keychains, t-shirts, magnets, mugs or mini statues. Same here, it's all about memories. Also nice to show friends when you get back. "I bought this at this place.." Fun to show off a bit :)
