Why are essays always left to the last minute?

Is it just me or do other people leave their essays to the last minute? I had to run today just to hand my essay in on time at university which is not a very clever move. Is it human nature to try and avoid essay writing?

gittabest Same problem here. I have to turn one in the day after tomorrow and I haven't even started. This "I'll do it tomorrow" attitude is not a good idea but I still always end up going with it.

gittabest I like hotmail the most. The main reason is that they give you such a large inbox that you don't have to worry about deleting e-mails.
