How much money do you spend on gas?

Gas prices have been on the rise where I live and it is getting really bad, you have to use public transportation unless you can afford to spend $40 to fill your gas tank! How high are gas prices where you live? In Seattle Washington it averages around $3.50 per gallon, is this high compared to where you live?

Its 94p a litre in Wales at the moment, thats about $1.80 a litre I think. We don't buy petrol by the gallon here, its far too expensive for that!
