I rate every one that responds to my discussions, then I go and rate every discussion I respond to, to help the other's gain points also, as I believe Mylot is a place where we should all help each other get better and better in every way possible, whether it be in improving discussions, boosting one's morale on a bad day, or rating them so they can get better star ratings and responding to 0 response discussions so they can get paid for their post, as one only gets paid for their discussion if they get at least one response.

You can rate anything that is on the site as long as it isn't something that you posted yourself. I always try to rate people who have responded to my discussions as well as rate people who have started discussions that I answer as well as sometimes even other people who have answered the same discussion that I am answering. Did you know that you can also rate pictures that people have posted?

You can rate other's discussions or answers. If there is a plus, minus or the explanation, you can rate even though you have not started the discussion or do not intend to discuss about it, but find it interesting, you do not know what to say or you know little about the subject to start writing. You have to remember something --do not rate someone a minus because he rates your discussion a minus or rate someone's discussion a plus because he does yours. That is revenge and getting even.
