Aveda.....not JUST beauty products...

They stand for so much more than commitment to excellent products. That's the 1st reason I came to love Aveda so much... Not only are they commited to giving their consumers the best the world has to offer, but they do it in a way that is conducive to the world we live in. Keeping a huge focus on being world friendly... Right on their website their mission statement says it all..

There are many stories of where they obtain their ingredients & the good it does for the sources they have. Tribes that are kept thriving from our purchases here in the states. THAT is a company I will support & continue to support FOREVER! In return i get QUALITY personal care products... if that's not a win win i don't kno what is!!!

That is one of the things that attracted me to Aveda in the first place.
As soon as I use up all the rest of the stuff in my bathroom, I will be using Aveda stuff all the way.
I am gradually replacing stuff with Aveda.
I am particularly fond of their Rosemary Mint line of products. Wow, that stuff is great!

I just now tried Aveda's Shampure shampoo and conditioner for the first time.
I must admit, I don't like it as much as I like their Rosemary Mint. The scent was not as strong, nor was it as invigorating.
I'm glad I just have the trial sizes of the Shampure. I'm definitely going to use the Rosemary Mint from now on.

you're right in saying that Aveda truly lives there mission. They strive to produce top of the line products in an ecologically minded way. I also appreciate their commitment to environmental issues, especially during Earth Month. I have been using Aveda for a few years now and it has made me a more aware consumer, not in the just the beauty products I use, but with other brands and companies I support.
