Do you buy second-hand stuff???

Yes. All the time. Friends have told me that I am eccentric especially in my dress and hair. I can find quality clothing in silk, linen and wool that is priceless. And all at the second hand store. There are times I will purchase an item just for the buttons. And the shoes!!!! Oh the shoes!!!! You have to take your time, keep an open mind and you will find pure treasures.

I like going to the second hand store. My husband thinks I'm the bomb when I buy clothes there, only because it saves him money. But I love shopping there. But I don't buy my our under garments from there. I buy them brand new, for personal reasons.

I LOVE THRIFT STORES!!!! I buy tons of second hand stuff-clothes, shoes, books, dishes, etc. If its what I want, in good condition and cheap, why shouldn't I buy it??? Nobody can convice me not to buy a like new pair of Doc Marten shoes(I love Docs) for $3 as long as I like them and they are my size.....

God, all the time! Most of my belongings have been bought from charity shops or eBay. I don't think I've ever paid full price for a book or CD, I always get them used, as it saves so much money. Plus, you can find some really interesting things to make outfits out of, or music that isn't available in regular stores.

I like to buy second hand stuff sometimes! Quite often I go to yard sales, garage sales, or things like that and find antique furniture and things. Lots of people automatically think everything old is junk, but they don't realize that lots of things have antique value so they sell them very inexpensively. I've found antique Hull vases, and all kinds of really good stuff, just because somebody was cleaning out a house and thought those old dishes, etc, were junk merely because they were old. One of my favorite finds was an antique horse feed bag (hung from their bridle so they could eat and walk at the same time) from the World War I...never used, and marked with all the correct details to check it out as authentic!

it largely depends on the condition of the stuff!if its second hand there r chances of it to be in a bd condition.but it is cheaper.so there can be a compromise! but if the condition is really not soo good,then its better not to buy.

I shop at consignment shops. I try to find ones that keep rotating their clothes out because it can get boring going to look at the same things. I also look for stores that sell like new items for the most part. I don't want to waste my time looking through things that are stained or ripped.

I actually prefer buying gently used things for my family. Kids nowadays do not take care of anything so why pay $50 for something I can get for $5? I love thrift stores!

yes i do too. you do not only find great bargains but sometimes good quality also. it is much cheaper than those in stores. you just need to be practical at times.

It depends on what it is I am buying second hand, the price and the condition. I am always looking for deals so I usually will buy second hand stuff to resell. I am not a huge fan of keeping second hand stuff for myself unless its a video game or an item which isnt very personal.
